This is a great looking light and the quality is great.The two bulbs with two switches make it very useful and versatile as a night light and reading light.

This lamp is beautiful, and I love it. However, even though I used the correct type of light bulb, one has overheated and exploded. Not sure whether I will try a different bulb or send the lamp back.

When I unpacked the light the feeling was that this is a cheaply made lamp that I spent over $150 for so I was disappointed and contemplated sending it back for reimbursement. I will say that the colors in the shade are beautiful especially when the light is on. The base of the lamp is a synthetic material, not metal, and is plain, not much design on it. However, my husband likes it and is happy it brightens up a dark corner of our dining room so we decided to keep it but I live with the knowledge that this lamp is overpriced for what you get.
