Macross Transformable Model Kit VF-25G Messiah Valkyrie Michael Custom [1/72 Scale]

I received my item within the expected time frame of delivery and I tip my hat to Japan Goodsness for taking the time to pack the item carefully. Upon opening though, I noticed that the yellow piece for the "eye" had broken off.Mercifully, it was broken off at the junction connecting it to the frame. I double-checked all the frames and everything was there. As of this moment, I have just finished the nose and cockpit section, just taking my time. Honestly, this scale model is NOT for everyone especially for those who are not into "building from the ground up". Having built Gundam models before, this model also requires a huge amount of patience and if you are very particular about details just like me (paint,decals,outlines,ect.), it would be best to take your time for each piece requiring such attention. The materials used are kinda fragile so one has to exercise caution in the entire process (Even pulling out the frames in a hurry from its plastic cover can be disastrous if a part gets tangled up with the other frame packed with it). Painting it is an option because using the finishing decals that comes along with it does a pretty good job of giving you the actual "feel" of a VF-25 as seen on the Macross F series. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend it to Macross F fans, in general and to everyone who loves to build scale models of this particular genre.

For the life of me, I haven't been able to make the damn legs and arms fit in fighter mode. The build was fun, but it's more cumbersome than it appears at first glance.

Fully Transformable into all 3 modes, and an all around a fun build! The wings feel a bit fragile, and the gun is a little touchy, but that's not a deal breaker for me. The rest is solid and fun to work with. If I had one thing that I had to say annoyed me, it would be that the jet form has specific hands to hold the jets tail piece on.

うちにはベースがないので必然的にバトロイドで飾っているんですが、まあこのかっこよさ。スナイパーライフルの展開もできて、素晴らしいのだが···少々、スナイパーライフルの保持力が···わりと取れます。それに加え、これでもかと押し込んでも入らないパーツとかがあったりして···挙げ句折れたり。ただなんといっても完成したときの感動は本当素晴らしいので、買って損はないと思います。

Kit Bandai del 2009 dedicato alla serie di "Macross Frontier". Ottima qualità delle plastiche, istruzioni chiare e il modello, una volta terminato, nella sua configurazione in Battroid risulta stabile, posabile e robusto.Sono inoltre inculse sia le normali Stickers, sia le Water Decals.Bandai però ha trascurato alcuni piccoli dettagli che stavolta non gli fanno meritare l'eccellenza di sempre:1) nella trasformazione in Fighter le gambe e le braccia si posizionano un pò a fatica nei loro "alloggi" (essendo il terzo kit di Macross Frontier che ho assemblato, posso dire con sicurezza che è un problema comune. A meno di non rischiare di forzare troppo le plastiche, è bene accontentarsi di posizionarle senza pretendere una precisione millimetrica).2) sempre riguardo alle gambe, il posizionamento in fase Gerwalk, per quanto buono, non è fedele all'Anime al 100% e questo va a impattare un pò sulla posabilità del modello durante questa fase (il Gerwalk è stabile, ma non è possibile riprodurre certe pose viste nell'Anime)3) i carrelli di atterraggio non sono retrattili, bensì vanno attaccati e staccati ogni volta.A questo va aggiunto che, a discapito dei più classici Gunpla, il montaggio qui risulta leggermente più impegnativo. E' infatti necessario prestare molta attenzione ai pezzi e alle istruzioni: ad esempio alcune parti dell'Inner Frame della gambe, sebbene a prima vista sembrino uguali sia per la destra che per la sinistra, differiscono per piccoli dettagli che poi risultano critici se distrattamente invertiti! Quindi, attenzione!In definitiva, un modello trasformabile che merita, ma che presenta però alcuni piccoli "compromessi" che Bandai poteva evitare facilmente, secondo me.Fantastico come sempre il servizio di Amazon e del Venditore che me lo ha venduto e spedito (Toy Shop Japan Hobbyone).

4機種すべて作ってみました。プラモデルもここまで来たかぁと思わせる、変形とプロポーションの両立はバンダイの凄みを感じます。しかし、組み立てや変形させる上で非常につらい部分がいくつか。小さな関節のジョイントパーツを、顔を真っ赤にしてプルプル震えるほど力を入れないとはまらないという鬼仕様。あまりに力んで折れてしまわないかとビビるのですが、半端な力じゃはまらない。しかもパーツが小さいので持ちにくいったらありゃしない。グリス差してやりたくなるほどです。どっちにしろいつかへたるわけで、そこまでABSに拘らなくてもポリキャップでいいんじゃないかと思います。理論上は見事な計算で変形するわけですが、上記の関節のあまりの硬さできっちりと稼動させることができません。ソコが本当につらいので星を一つ減らせて頂きました。おしい！バンダイさん頑張って。

前にノーマルのアルト機を組み立てたことがあり，その感覚を思い出しつつ，製作しました．機体色が白色であったこともあり，アルト機は全体的にふくよかに見えたのですが，ミシェル機は機体色が青色のため，全体的に引き締まって見えてカッコイイです．まぁ，パーツはアルト機とほとんど一緒なんですけどね・・・．ウリのスナイパーライフルはがっちりできていて，よくできてます．ただ，弾倉が本体と一体化してるため，外せないのが少し残念です．また，デカールは相変わらず薄く，白色のデカールを青い機体に張るため，アルト機よりも透けて見えます・・・．　最後に頭部です．単眼，一角(アンテナ)のすらっとしてカッコイイ頭部ですが，この角は，基部が比較的自由に回転するアルト機と比べて，折れやすいです．自分は完成直後に机から落としてしまい，角が3分割されました．(瞬間接着剤でできるだけまっすぐになるように直しましたが・・・)　いろいろありますが，すばらしいキットだと思います．

とりあえず完成したので感想を、キット自体の出来は特に言う事はありません。このキットの最大の目玉のドラグノフ・アンチ・マテリアル・スナイパーライフル８枚の安定翼の開閉ギミックは見事ですが、銃身の先端パーツがよく取れます。キットによって差があるかもしれませんが、塗装やデカールを張り終えたら接着したほうが無難かもしれません。私は塗装派なので気にならなかったですが、機首の下（バトロイド時の腹部）のパーツは無塗装派の人の為にも白ではなく青にしてほしかった。デカールは付いてますが…股間部のパーツは白と青の二種類入ってるのに。まあランナーの都合でしょうが。全体的にはとても良いキットです。欲を言えばサウンドブースターが欲しかった！
