Childhood memories are back again!
I love this model, in my opinion the inner frame is meticulously detailed, enabling exceptional articulation. The smooth movement of the joints is complemented by the natural shifting of the armor plates, giving it a realistic, mechanical feel. This kit boasts multi-tone color separation, making it visually stunning even without paint. The panel lines and decals add intricate details without being overwhelming

Absolutely fantastic example of an RG kit
I love this kit. I owned a no grade version of this back in the early 2000's when it was airing and it was fine, but this obviously blows it out of the water. It looks great. Most of the colors are separate parts which is ideally what you want in a gunpla. The main stickers being the green in the chest, arms and eyes(which is fine). Like most real grades it comes with an extra decal sheet with a bunch of stickers, but it really is just optional if you like that look, they aren't show accurate. The possibility is great, allowing for the iconic pose where he fires his twin buster rifle at the enemies base over and over from above. I really like what they did with the wings adding "feathers" on each side of it that can move independently to really give it a dynamic feel. What you get in the box is the twin buster rifle(that can be split into 2 or combined together) 2 green beam sabers. A small 1/144th scale Hero figure(that I will never paint because my hands are way to shaky for that) and a good assortment of hands. This kit is absolutely worth the ~30$ it costs.

Looks great, Fun Build, Small issues
It's a great build for a great gundam, but some of the smaller joints(like the feathers) can be very loose, the shoulders clip on rather than sliding into an actual joint so they fall off easier than other kits(especially when trying to pose around the wings), but overall it's a great model and a fun build.

Great addition to the RG line
The RG series keeps getting better. This kit is insanely detailed, on par with master grades but in 1/144 scale. Once you add all the decals and do some work with a lining pen, it will really pop. The total build time depends on your experience, for me it was about 10 hours including lining and decals. Obviously you can take this a step further with painting, detailing, etc. It's extremely poseable, to the extent that posing it can be sort of tricky (looking at you, quadruple-jointed knees). The inner frame is great and on top of that you have panels sliding past each other giving the feeling of a real complex machine.I was concerned about the bulky wings not staying in place, but it seems they've hit the sweet spot between easily movable and staying in place. For accessories you get 4 sets of hands (fist, open, trigger, and poseable), the two big guns that can combine together, and a pair of beam sabers. You also get the teeny-tiny pilot figurine and an adapter to mount it on a peg base.Overall I think this was a great kit to put together and it looks awesome on display. Definitely worth buying.

First Gunpla Kit in almost 20 Years
Excellent kit even for someone like me who has been out of the hobby for a long time.Be aware that there are some difficult steps in the assembly process. Most notably: head assembly and decal application to the head. However, overall this is a great kit. Would absolutely recommend a quality pair of nippers, some fine tipped forceps, and a spudger of some kind to help pull pieces apart in case of incorrect assembly.Instructions are in Japanese, but the diagrams are good enough that I was able to follow them relatively easily.Total assembly time: roughly 5 hours give or take. Hard to quit once you get going!

Small pieces hurt my big fingers but it was fun to complete it.
I like that it can stand on its own and looks cool. I just had a hard time putting it together the pieces are so small I forgot about adding on the really small stickers on it. The instructions was in Japanese but i was able to finish the gundam model about 6 hours. Then another hour on the weapons and small hands add ons. Glad I had a pair of wire cutters to remove the small pieces. I spent 1 hour looking for a piece I dropped. I thought I losted it for good. Hehe but I found it. It motivated me to clean my room afterwards. It lives in its box I have no more shelf space to display it but it was an experience to make on this small.
