Tom Gates: Everything's Amazing (sort of)

I loved this book, and the whole series, and I would recommend it to ages 5 up to 16.I love the way the characters are described as it makes the book feel likes it's all happening In real life.This book is hilarious and I love the part when Tom spills the beetles all over Uncle Kevin.This is an amazing book!

Ordered for my grandson aged 8 he is a big fan and just expanding his collection

I've got a 10 year old who despises reading, I've tried every book under the sun to get him interested with no luck. Then one day we were at a book sale and Tom Gates was the only book he could afford so he bought it and straight away his head was glued into the book. I couldn't believe it so I came on here and bought a few more for him all of which he has loved and read numerous times. It's a fun interesting book for kids that doesn't make them feel like they are doing a chore. I'll be buying the rest of them for Christmas presents and just know he will love them.Excellent price for a child engaging book, would happily pay twice the price for these.

Has lots of detail and lots of different stories such as his birthday and the school disco.I would 100% recommend to any Tom gates fans.😀😀

My son and I adore all of the Tom Gates books by Liz Pichon.

this is an exellent book and i would reccommend it to anyone aged 9-11 who is looking for a light and easy read. it is a very realistic and interesting story of a schoolboy in year 5/6 and is just as good as the other diary books like 'diary of a wimpy kid' if not better. l pichon is a fantastic author who has succeded in making an interesting and funny story out of an ordinary school situation. it is clear that the author understands the unrealistic normality of school life and has been able to turn this into a good read without mixing in unrealistic situations. 5 stars.

Again, another great tom gates book I have really started to get into these books. I personally really enjoyed this book couldn't put the book down. The book is about tom gates and his story as he tries to avoid his irritating sister Delia, enter his best friend Derek's dog in to dog competitions, and hope for the best his dad won't be the DJ at his school disco and save him from pure humiliation. Tom gates just can't stop getting into awkward situations and getting told off by his teachers. This book will have you laughing and cringing as you find out the story of the school boy called tom gates. I would recommend this book everyone over 8. An easy 5 stars

My 9 year old son absolutely loves this book! He is a huge fan of all of the Tom Gates books but this one is his favourite. On Book Day he took it to school and told all of his friends how good it is and now they all love it as well. He is like a one boy publicity machine for Liz Pichon! Brilliantly funny and genuinely laugh out loud it is one of the few books that his Dad and I don't mind reading over and over again, which is just as well as my son is showing no sign of tiring of it! I cannot recommend this book enough it is quite simply wonderful.

My kids like these books and purchase was good experience.

These books are amusing and a easy read for a nine/ten year old
