The chocolate bar ruined the gift

I got it for an 80-year-old lady. The gift idea is okay, but it's a bit pricey. I hoped for something good. But the chocolate was bad and looked awful. I had to quickly buy something else for the gift. I tried the chocolate, and it tasted bad too. I threw it away. It's weird they didn't check it before sending since you can easily see inside the box.
