Dewalt mechanic set 1/4in to 1/2
This set is a perfect starter kit for ANYONE. This will not break the bank and instead of buying multiple different sets which in time you will be spending a lot more separately. This set is all in one from 1/4in to 1/2in with regular to deep well sockets SAE amd metric in all sizes. This would be a great graduation gift, birthday or Christmas gift to an individual wanting to branch to an automotive mechanic or even an DIYer. I bought this for my nephew (17) who recently bought a used car and is learning the basics of a car owner and responsibilities. I extremely recommend, I personally swear by Dewalt they make amazing tools. If I didn't already have 15yrs worth of tools I'd buy this set for myself. Storage is a bit bulky, you may want to invest in seperate bags for each size so your not lugging around every single tool at once.

Great starter set
I had a set before and my car was broken into I brought this set again because it comes in handy all of the time. Working on small engines to heavy equipment the three spark plug sockets work well some of the newer cars have a different size. However, they will still work after you loosen the plug to pull it out of the hole.

Great "enthusiast" set
So far this along with a 3/4 tekton torque wrench, has had everything I've needed for projects on my Jeep JL and Harley Softail.I don't have a ton of space in my garage, so it's nice that this stands upright when closed and takes up minimal space. And compared to similar Harbor freight brand sets, this Dewalt set was actually a similar price and shipped to me free with Prime, so thats a plus.

Very pleased with the set! Minor Issues
Had this for alittle.under 2 years very good tool set Absolutely love it it gets used very frequent! My ONLY complaints would be the ratchets are starting to stick and get alittle tough releasing sockets and switching between left/right so they are definetly starting to show their age as well as 1 of the torx bits had snapped a few months into buying the set and just the case itself is starting to get Alittle wore out with it holding the sockets in place. But besides that very pleased with the set
