I like that it's made in the USA in a GMP facility. These are two important criteria when I select supplements. I also like that they don't try to inflate their label claims by making a serving more than one capsule. This is very important when comparing products based on price. However, what the heck is a TFU? Most Probiotic supplements measure activity in AFU or CFU but I never heard of a TFU and Google searching wasn't very helpful in defining it either. So, assuming a TFU = AFU, it's a bit anemic in biological count for the price.I recently ordered another Akkermansia product that was less expensive per capsule but contain 150 billion AFU/capsule. I've also seen others that are far less in AFU count at similar prices. So, bottom line is that it's a good idea to shop around and compare apples to apples. This one is about midrange in value per capsule (assuming a TFU = AFU or CFU).

Unfortunately, as probiotics go there is not as much research on Akkermansia Muciniphila as there are on other probiotic strains.With regards to the packaging and the product, the item description is accurate and the capsules are well made with no broken or leaking capsules.It takes time for a probiotic to have an effect, but if you are looking to try Akkermansia Muciniphila, this is a good brand to try.
