Fantastic quality and sound
Used on a violin not used for 25 years, pegs did not hold tune so changed, D String was only one which snapped being wound on and off a few times but supplier didnt only replace the broken string they sent a whole set when reported, the next day fantastic service. Then the cat gut on the tail piece on the violin gave up after 50 years and all of the strings survived the tail piece being secured so the strings had been under tension and not under tension loads of time and they still were OK and sounded brilliant. Would really recommend, (my playing has never sounded so rich in tone and sound).

Do the job
I’ve found these hold tuning better than expected for cheaper strings and have held up well. Easy to use and perform well for price.

Great customer service. Awesome strings. You won't be disappointed!!
Brilliant customer service. Awesome strings. These strings give a warm, strong and bright sound. I put a full set on the violin I use. This is a Stentor Student 2. Now having just acquired the violin I felt I wanted a better sound from the violin. I knew being second hand, the strings that were on it when it came had seen better days. (They were very scratchy). After much deliberating, (Dominant, Piastrao Tonica, D,Aaddrio and this brand,) I choose this one because it offered great value for money. It also had great reviews plus someone in the comments said if you snapped them whilst restringing, they would give you another string at no extra charge. Being the first time of doing it I may well snap one or even two. Well they arrived. And I ended up snapping 2 of them. I told the guys on here who sold them to me and told them the issue. They were great. They promptly sent me out a full set, bless them. I now have a full set on and it sounds great. Now I know how to put them on i shouldn't be snapping anymore lol. 5/5

Bought as a present for Mrs Sunshine.
Mrs Sunshine "accidentally" bought a fiddle in a charity shop. The case had broken hinges and the bow was all but bald. But the fiddle itself looked OK and it had 4 strings. When she got it home and we cleaned it up and got it up to pitch, it actually sounded OK, but the stings were knacked. Now Mrs Sunshine isn't a brilliant fiddler and doesn't have professional-quality fiddles, yet she always buys Dominant strings. To my way of thinking, it's like putting £4000 German speakers on a cheap, Chinese stereo. I Thought I'd beat her to it and buy her some decent, budget strings. They are well-balanced and sound just as good to my uneducated ear. She can't hear any difference either. This could save me several hundred pounds over the next few tears.

Good quality strings
I play to a grade 6 level and these strings are very very good for their price, the have a nice warm tone and higher notes on E strings sound pleasant instead of scratchy, great for beginners and intermediate level players!

Perfect for what I needed
Seeing as we are in lockdown, I thought I would dig out my violin that I hadn't touched in nearly 12 years only to find it needed new strings. After looking for ones that were not too expensive, but also a good quality, I opted for these ones - and I'm glad I did. Each string comes in its own packet labelled 1st to 4th - that did throw me because I'm used to calling the strings by their name and not number, but I figured it out in the end - and they are so easy to install. Once I managed to tune the violin (not the strings fault) I played a few notes and the sound is fantastic.I'm definitely going to buy these strings again, for the price and the quality you can't go wrong. Thank you!
