It arrived in a small package, pulled it right out of the box and comes with the Nvme SSD with the Heatsink already installed. It felt little heavy so there is weight to it therefore the build quality felt premium.Installation was very easy to do, I plugged it into my PS5 and fits perfectly. I booted my PS5 and right off the bat it detected the SSD and did a format. I was able to redownload my PS5 games on to the drive. It functions great, the download speed of it was very fast. Tested out some games on it, there was no overheating, it works as expected. TimeTec feels like a reliable company and reaching out to them about the warranty and registration of the device was straight forward. I definitely recommend them on their devices.

PS5 compatible is why I got it, easy to install into the system & now I'm able to havr as many games locally as I want. Yes, the playstation plus account is necessary for most multi-player games now & does come with cloud storage but u still have to have local files & save files i like to have locally too. Has been running & saving great since install. No issues, I'd highly recommend this to anyone with a PS5

The m.2 was awesome. Would buy again. Did accidently order NAND when I needed NVMe, returned it, both from Timetec, but my fault. Be careful you purchase the right one, I'd check the port where you were going to put the m.2 to see if it has 3 (NAND) or 2 (NVMe: 1 small, 1 big). But the product, awesome. I am actually writing this review from the laptop I installed Windows on with the m.2 as this internal SSD, and it is FAST. I would purchase a billion of these if I could. But TL;DR, this review is more about how to check what M.2 type you need, which you should slant at 45 degrees when installing the M.2, don't put it straight in like RAM. Actual TL;DR, I wrote this review to give 5 stars, but also to really exploit the fact that there is no character limit on Amazon reviews.

A great product at a great price provided with great service!

I was drawn to this Timetec NVMe SSD due to its Phison E27T controller, 3D NAND TLC flash memory, and included heatsink. The price point was attractive, and the sequential read/write speeds met the advertised expectations.Performance:Sequential Speeds: These are consistent with what was promised, making it efficient for transferring large files.Random 4K Q32T1 Write: Here, the drive falls into the lower performance tier for NVMe SSDs. Ideally, for a primary drive, I'd look for a Random 4K Q32T1 write speed of at least 1000MB/s, if not 2000MB/s, for optimal system responsiveness.Usage Suitability:Primary Drive: Given its random write performance, it's not my top choice for this role if you're after peak system performance.Secondary Storage: However, as a secondary drive, this Timetec NVMe offers solid value at a good price, particularly for storing less frequently accessed data or as a game library.In summary, while this NVMe SSD doesn't excel in random write performance, it's a cost-effective solution for additional storage or for tasks that don't heavily rely on small, random writes.(I can confirm this product functions in an Asus TUF A16 laptop)

really good drive 10 times faster than hdd very pleased

Fits great and easily installs into the Playstation 5. Have had no issues so far. The console easily accepted it and has been working great with it.
