How to eliminate the static?
I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado. No BlueTooth until now. I did have static with the unit, but here is the simple way to get rid of it.Once you select the radio station that you need to tune it to, you need to raise your volume on your phone all the way up before you connect to the LIHAN Bluetooth FM Transmitter for your car. Then once paired for use, adjust the radio volume knob to eliminate the static. Yup, that's it. Adjust the bass and treble if you want it even clearer.Another thing, you can't listen to the radio and use the LIHAN Transmitter at the same time. I usually listen to my radio, if a call comes in I already have the LIHAN preset to its radion station button, I hit the button saved then I answer the call. When I finish my call I press the station I was listing to, pretty simple.Great inexpensive value for older non-Bluetooth cars. I'm completely satisfied.

Tweek the radio volume & converter volume to equalize the sound & GET RID OF STATIC . IT WORKS
I got it to sync with my radio although, I do not know how I did it. Yes, I read the instructions but the station I had on the radio I could never get on the device. The device seem to settle on 89.9 by itself, so I set my radio to that. IT WORKED to my surprise. Next I merge my cell phone to the device. This also worked but I still do not not how I did it. So, I started to play my music off of my phone. The static was super loud. I thought, Damn, it not good. THEN I tweeked the car radio volume and the device volume. I don't know how but this WORK. The sound comes out of all speakers nicely. So, final test. I text the wife to call me. BAM...HANDS FREE PHONE OVERRIDING MUSIC...WORKS. DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYBODY THAT SAYS THE STATIC WAS BAD & IT DID NOT WORK. YOU HAVE TO TURN YOUR PHONE VOLUME ALL THE WAY UP. THEN PLAY WITH THE VOLUME ON YOUR RADIO & THE TRANSMITTER TO GET RID OF THE STATIC.

Good product, bad fit, can’t use.
Although this product probably is good, it is advisable to make sure it will fit in the outlet of vehicle first. I did not check, and assumed it would, but it didn’t. So I can’t really rate or review the product. I’ll probably search again, and find one that will fit my car’s outlet. My bad.

Saved me $700+
The Bluetooth broke on my car and that was literally my favorite thing about it. The shop told me the part would be $700 and that doesn’t include labor! I got this bad boy and it works great! It can be a bit staticky at times and it’s more cumbersome than the factory installed Bluetooth but if you haven’t been spoiled with car connect before it will work like a dream.

Did exactly what I wanted it to do, and looks cool doing it
So, my car is an oddball. It'll connect to my phone via Bluetooth, but ONLY for calls. No music. Bummer. And there's no aux in (just an iPod adapter, which is useless for this Android user). As a result, I've been a satellite radio subscriber for years because I need more than FM radio. But after a year and a half of working from home, I realized I was paying for a radio service I simply wasn't using.Years ago, I had an FM transmitter that let me listen to my discman in the car, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I also thought that concept died in the early 2000s, so when I went searching for cost effective ways to replace satellite radio AND not be stuck with vanilla FM, you can imagine my surprise to find this tech outlived CDs.Bottom line, it works exactly as I hoped it would. Setup was super simple, and I can listen to music stored on my device or streaming services. The unit is smaller than I thought it would be, which is a plus, and the variety of colors is a neat perk.Sound quality won't blow you away, but it's no worse than regular FM. It connected easily and automatically reconnects when I plug it in, and doesn't seem bothered by multiple connections (the first time I tried it, my phone was already connected to the car, plus a ODB diagnostic tool and a wearable and it connected with no issue).Things I don't know yet: I'm not sure what will happen if I get a phone call since, in theory, both my car and the device will try to claim it. And, having only had it for 2 days, I can't speak to longevity.I'll update if either become an issue or a new problem emerges, but so far, this is exactly what I wanted.

Great while it worked
Worked great--as advertized. Until it didn't. It connected my cell phone to the car radio and speakers for GPS and handsfree phone answering and playing music from my phone just fine (Note: if your cigarette lighter is "always on" type, you MUST remember to take it out when car is parked or it will drain your battery). Returnable 30 days after delivery. Mine died on day 36. No warning. We came home from the beach, it was working. Stopped for lunch. Plugged it back in. Nothing. No bluetooth, no lights, no power to the usb charging ports. Tested the car's cigarette ligher and that was fine. So the unit just died. Disappointed I have to write it off.
