This notebook has been in use for a few weeks by my child, who is just beginning to learn how to write. Other starter notebooks, in my experience, tend to be larger, which might be inconvenient. This one finds an excellent mix between being lightweight enough to carry around and robust enough for frequent use.The size is also good for smaller hands. It’s compact enough to fit into a backpack without taking up too much space, but it still offers plenty of room on each page for writing and drawing. Other notebooks we’ve used often had too small or too large ruling, making them frustrating for early writers. This one strikes a good balance.If there’s one downside, it’s that the pages aren’t as thick as I’d like. If my child presses too hard with a pencil, the writing sometimes shows through to the other side. These are now my go to books for my 3year old. The writing quality is great and it's really a sturdy books, didn't have to worry about the pages falling out. Will continue buying.
