now i know my water is safe to drink
there were community concerns about water quality including lead. These test for everything you need to give you peace of mind or take action if you must. Super easy, lots of strips to do it multiple times. This worked well for me.

Confidence in Results
This answers the questions about the safety of our water without the hassle, expense, and waiting by sending samples off to a lab. It's easy to understand the instructions and read the results. Very much worth the reasonable expense.

Ok for coarse detection, insufficient for lead safety
Easy to use, lots of test strips. Was interested to test for lead given some local work done by the municipality in that regard, but the test is really too coarse for that, skipping from 0 mg per liter to 20 mg per liter on the readout, but where the recommended threshold for safety is < 3 mg per liter. So really kind of useless for that, apart from giving you a heads up that you may have extraordinarily high/dangerous lead. Bottom line, a decent test kit for massive bad news about lead, but not a test that can rule out that you have unsafe levels.

Worked Real well!
The instructions and procedures were easy to follow. Takes very little time to complete. The color chart is the exact size needed to align the test strip to ensure you read the correct line no guessing needed. Not only is there a chart on the box, but also one included on the instruction page as well. I will be buying these test strips again when needed. In the pictures, a test of my tap water and a test of distilled water for comparison.Update. After more than a month of using these strips, I have become more and more impressed with them. They have been instrumental in assuring the tap water I de-chlorinate (I mix 25mg vitamin C per gallon of water to de-chlorinate it) is sufficient for my use. They are sized just right to fit right beside the color chart for easy reading. I really like the resealable bags that hold 10 strips each so all strips are not exposed to the air when I get one out to use. Each bag also has a deaccent packet to keep the moisture in the packet controlled. I’ll definitely be buying these again!!

Not sure I trust them
I’m not 100% sure I trust these strips! I have 100% we’ll water but the strips show I have c chlorine and other chemicals in the water but no iron , my toiled and sink and all water have “rust” stains so I know there is iron.So I’ll use these some and do a follow up rating to let you know how they work out!7-19-23 follow up.The company reached out to me saying they would refund the cost, that I feel is very thoughtful of them. However I will not ask for a refund.I have used these strips several times in filtered and unfiltered water, the results have been consistent. That builds confidence in their consistency, but consistent results only helps confirm my suspicions that the results may not be 100% accurate. I’m going to take samples of my well water to a lab and have it tested professionally. After that I will post another update.

Does what it's supposed to!
We have filtered well water at our cabin, so we were very curious to see if the water was within drinkable limits and this kit was super helpful. The directions for use are easy to follow and so are the results. The color on the strips lined up perfectly with the chart making it convenient to read the results. The strips themselves are packaged in a few different “ziplock bags” which keeps the strips fresh. I cannot speak to the accuracy as I don't have anything else to compare it to, but I was able to get consistent results with multiple tests and it eased our minds in terms of the water we are using.

“Old” Kit, Inaccurate Results, No Thanks to FB!
I just received this kit two days ago. I noticed that the expiration date is 14Mar26, which was not noted in the product details of the Amazon iOS app. I was curious about it so I checked the manufacturer’s website, and it states that consumers should expect a two-year shelf life for these kits, and only 90 days for the individual strips once each packet has been opened. My kit will expire one year and five months from receipt instead of the two years I should be able to expect. Is that a manufacturer’s problem or Amazon’s problem? And take a look at the two different charts enclosed in the kit. One is part of a leaflet of information, and the other is a “waterproof” sticker. You can see the two charts side by side and again with the wet test strip between them. Most of the color blocks in the test parameters are somewhat clear enough to measure within the chart, and between the two charts, to be able to accurately compare them to the test strip. Some of the color blocks, however, are ambiguous to the point that making an accurate comparison is impossible. I’ve contacted my local water office with questions about our water re to the questionable parameters. One that I know is terribly inaccurate is hardness. Our water is extremely hard, just by using several easy-to-discern metrics like staining, spotting, laundering performance, etc. The test strip, however, shows that our water is at the lowest level re hardness. There are other parameters that look questionable, too. Finally, in order to be able to access “YOUR FREE E-BOOK”, you must install Facebook/Messenger. No, thanks. This is an easy return.
