What a fantastic book, very well illustrated packed full with photos drawings and fascinating information all about Apollo 11 what's not to love even when it's wrapped in this commemorative 50 year anniversary cover.Sized exactly the same as other Haynes manuals with identical hardback, this will stand the test of time and already my 5yo boy loves looking at all the images contained within it, so much so I know he'll be keen enough to revisit the book in years to come as soon as he is able to read it unaided

I bought this book for my boyfriend, the space enthusiast. He really enjoyed it! Kept it by the bed side for weeks. The actual book is lovely, glossy and large (A4), it has a sturdy cover. As for content I am not sure I can assess that, but my space expert says it is informative and very interesting, full of illustrations and facts that he didn't know before even though he reads a lot about space.

I bye these books regularly very good and interesting.

What a fantastic read this book is. It tells the story of all of the people and the amazing hardware that were involved in the Apollo 11 mission. Still man's most outstanding technical achievement in the last 50 years. The hand-drawn schematics of all the Apollo space vehicles are wonderful. There are plenty of the iconic photographs from all the Apollo missions and the Mercury and Gemini ones that led up to Apollo. I'm going to read this book many times.

This book will keep me entertained for hours and has so much information in it I’ll refer to it again, from time to time, for ever! Every child, both young and old, should read this publication just to have a better understanding of everything ‘space wise’ that happened in the sixties! OK, perhaps not everything, but, THE most important thing space wise in the sixties!

Bought this for my husband and he absolutely loved it! Read it from cover to cover and even I enjoyed him relaying various facts to me about the Apollo missions whilst he was reading it! Great history of the Apollo flights (not just Apollo 11). Highly recommended!

Great book, but alas spare parts are very hard to find so I am really struggling to complete the build. Still, background info is very interesting.

Excellent book, as usual in this series. Lots of information and technical data that you won't find in the press or ordinary news.

Als Kind der 60er habe ich die Mondlandung mitbekommen und gebannt vor dem Fernseher gesessen. Alle Apollo-Missionen ab Apollo 11 habe ich aufmerksam verfolgt und dachte, man könnte mir dazu nicht viel Neues erzählen.Weit gefehlt. Dieses Buch hat mir die Augen geöffnet für die enorme Leistung, die hinter diesen Reisen steckte. Ich habe durch dieses Buch viel Neues gelernt und bin jetzt noch sehr viel verwunderter, dass diese Missionen funktioniert haben.Das Buch ist sehr gut gemacht, sehr informativ, sowohl technisch, wie auch geschichtlich und ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der schon immer mal wissen wollte, wie diese Unternehmung abgelaufen ist.
