Haven't dared read it yet as ita so pretty!Beautiful artwork and nicely bound

I can't speak for the contents of the book - yet - as I haven't read it. I pre-ordered this book because of how beautiful the pictures looked (and I liked the sound of the blurb). I am not disappointed, it is so, so pretty.The foil covering on the front of the book is well done - I've had books before where foil like that has rubbed off almost upon first touch, this one looks to be of good quality but only time will tell. The slip case is a cardboard box, a bit like a DVD special cover, which will surely help keep the book in good condition, and it's a lovely box too. The edges of the pages are red, and there's some detailing on those.If the story is as beautiful as the book, I'm on to a winner. Although it almost feels sacreligious to be reading such a petty book!

When I first read lightlark I absolutely loved it. So when I found out a collectors edition was being released I had to look. This book is honestly stunning, the cover the artwork inside. It is an amazing addition to my bookshelf. The quality of the book is really good and didn't come with anything damage. If you love lightlark and collecting collectors editions I would absolutely recommend getting this book.

The prettiest book I now own. This book has been on my tbr list for quite some time but the second I saw there was a special edition of it coming out I had to get my hands on it immediately.The shipping was surprisingly fast, I wasn't expecting it to arrive until next week! It was a nice surprise while I was midway through cooking a less than satisfactory dinner.As for the book itself, it's bigger than I thought! Not a bad thing at all though. The gold parts I half expected to easily peel or chip off, but it doesn't! It's nicely made and put together neatly.Is it weird to comment on the smell of a book? Well I'm going to anyway. The book smells like freshly cut woodchips and I love it.

It's a good quality special edition. Amazon could have packaged it better and I thought the character art was spread out in the book where the scenes are but its all at the back of the book

Good price for such a beautiful edition of this book, if you are a fan of this story I would recommend! The art is beautiful and has helped me to bring the characters to life.
