Poor quality affects proper function of this tool
This is a comprehensive kit with good range of mandrel sizes. BUT - the poor quality renders it next to useless even for occasional DIY use. After installing only 4 M8 steel insets, the mechanism has been distorted so there is not enough movement to operate properly. The materials used simply can't handle the force required to set the larger insets. Might be OK for smaller insert sizes, but not up the job for M8 and definitely no good for M10 & M12.

Oh, so useful - but don't use too much force!
The concept of this tool is fantastic! I bought this and put two nuts in and... it broke (TL;DR happy resolution).The instructions could have... well, I didn't read the instructions, so mea culpa, but while this thing looks like a tank, it is (hindsight) a fairly precision tool, so you need to take your time to understand how it works and how to treat it. Set it incorrectly (like I did) you compress the rivet as far as it will go and start levering the inside of the tool. Not going to end well! The leverage is there to allow you to be careful, not act like the hulk.To fix it I had to order an 8mm e-clip (found 10 for £2 on Amazon), take the screws out (carefully) and put in a new e-clip. A 2-minute job. I've just put in another 38 rivet-nuts without a challenge and it's taking all my self control to not start finding new things to put them in :)

Solid build but missing parts.
The tool itself is mainly steel, but the main body and hand wheel are plastic which I think spoils the overall tool. However there was no M8 setting tool in its plastic box, and as I needed it for an urgent job, I could not afford the time to return it to Amazon. I think someone in the Amazon Quality Department should keep an eye on the product quality they sell, or allow others to sell through it.
