STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL - Highlighter - Deskset of 15 - with 9 Neon Colours and 6 Pastel Colours

There is an indescribable joy associated with having good quality stationery. I understand this. And my daughter understands it too. She is currently writing a book and has reached the dreaded stage where she has completed a first draft and wanted to have a hard copy printed out so she could edit prior to submission. Knowing how stressful this can be I decided to surprise her and arranged for this STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL Deskset of 15 Assorted Colours to be delivered to her. Now anyone who knows a thing or too about highlighters will tell you that STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL is the gold standard that no other brand comes close to emulating. Sure there are pretenders out there that are a few pennies cheaper but you will find all sorts of problems such as running ink, drying up nibs, uncomfortable designs, badly fitting caps, certain colours too dark when you photocopy, inconsistently of ink delivery through live of pen, I could go on and on but I think you get the picture by now. I was astonished that STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL have as many as fifteen shades. As well as the all time great highlighter colour of classic fluorescent yellow and the fairly everyday blues, greens, fuchsia pink and orange (my personal favourite) there are some highly original and impressive hues included in this pack ranging from lilacs, to purples, indigo, olive green, turquoise, mustard, grey (yes really) and many many more. It is quite astonishing that STABILO has managed to retain the same quality standards on these novel pigments than on the classics. My daughter was highly impressed and sent me the picture above. I now have severe stationery envy and wish that I had bought a second set for myself. These will brighten up anyone's day.

My nieces fell in love with my set so ordered some for them. Even better value for money as brought them while on offer so much cheaper than the shops.

I love these highlighters, I use them almost every day for my online school. They are good quality and trusted Stabilo highlighters, I like all the different colours and the deskset holder is very handy especially because I am autistic and like to keep my highlighters in the same order when I used them.Some of the reviews mentioned the holder being made of flimsy plastic, that hasn't been a problem for me, I don't find it flimsy at all, it's made of recycled plastic that may not be the strongest but it's stong enough to so what it needs to do.I definitely recommend them

Good range of colours in an attractive stand

These highlighters are great. A good variety of colours! You can see a swatch of each colour in the picture I attached.

The pens are as you would expect from Stabilo Boss. Great quality pens with good ink and nibs. The new pastel shades are perfect if you need more than the standard 4 fluorescent colours and kinder to the eye if you prefer the finished article to still look neat after your handywork! The pastels are still bright enough to be picked out easily when used to highlight text. This set comprises of 6 bright fluorescent pens and 9 pastel shades.My problem with this pack is the desktop tidy that is basically just part of the packaging. Really poor quality flimsy plastic that's not going to last 5 minutes. I will keep the set though as it is still better value than buying the pastel and fluorescent pens separately. I'm going to poor epoxy resin into the underside of the base and that should sort the problem out.I added the epoxy resin to the underside of the desk tidy and now it works grea and is much sturdier for moving the pens about. I also added some pictures showing that some of the pens are UV reactive and glow nicely under UV light.
