I was skeptical, but they work. My wife ordered these to use for hanging a puzzle (not a heavy object). The instructions were very clear, although a bit more involved than I expected. It seems that it is important to take the time to ensure that the adhesive adheres well to the wall. Having said that, installation was straight forward and the puzzle is hanging nicely on the wall. From how it seems, I would guess that I could have hung a slightly heavier object. They seem like they are very sturdy and would hold a lot of weight. I have not tried to remove them, so I can't really comment on that.

I used them to hang a full-length mirror on the back of my closet door. Didn’t want to drill into the door or deal with repainting down the line, and these strips totally solved that problem. Pay a bit more upfront and skip the hassle of cheap alternatives that don’t hold up. Definitely recommend.

These things are STURDY. I'll go out of my way to avoid leaving holes in the wall. I use them for everything -- no damage to the paint!
