what it was designed for. and Mary had a lamb. so what went wrong.

These work well enough I suppose. They are very weak holding wires though. Wires often wiggle free and fall out. I'll use the one's I've already bought but probably wouldn't buy again.

The big problem for me is that the screws to clamp down and hold the wires in place do NOTHING. And I mean literally nothing, the mouth does not open or close at all. This isn't user error, I have a comparable connector that works perfectly fine. This fact alone makes this product worthless.The pins on these go into every other pin on an arduino or comparable board, so you essentially block half your IO, if you care about that. That's not a huge problem for me, but it's worth noting.

I have SEVERAL small Phillips screwdrivers and I found it hard to find a screwdriver that fit the screw heads well. Also, it never felt like the wires were held firmly and securely. I returned them.

So when I first got the package I immediately soldered it to my pcb board. It took multiple small Phillip heads to unscrew the screws to put the wires leads in. The quality of the screw heads are somewhat low but I thought it’d be better.

Exactly what they say they are.

I bought these to use with an Arduino proto PCB. Despite being "5.00" they fit in the the board perfectly. I'm using these in a robot with RGB eyes, so having RGB connectors helps keep things sorted. I recommend them.
