Best purchase I have made to assist my 4 year daughter, she just started in reception. We received this book today (Wednesday) and my daughter was eager to start her 10 minute session, however I was attempting to delay until Monday. But she insisted to start mid week. She has completed 2 workouts today. She had her first attempt at blending and got the word after her second attempt. (very proud mummy). I did have to get my reward stamp out to stamp her answers as she again insisted that she reward for great work loool. I was very impressed that she understood to the questions I read to her and she answered each one correctly. Which shows that it is written to be understood by 4/5year olds. My daughter was born in the Summer child so she only just turned 4. She was taught the early stages of phonics in preschool and by my 6 year old daughter. I viewed her to be more a creative child than academic as my 6 year daughter (year 1) is a high achiever in school. This book has gaged my 4 yr olds interest and if she had her own way she would have completed the Autumn session in one afternoon.I have now resulted in purchasing all reception phase 1 &2 in phonics and maths.

Got for my autistic 5 year old niece as she loves learning and she absolutely loved it! She’s completed it already very easy to understand good quality paper

My kids love Cgp and they are so a cute ate to curriculum. Great as a parent to gauge kids understanding. Ask questions in different ways which gers them used to the different ways questions will be asked in SATs. The 10 min workouts are ideal as kids feel accomplished without being mentally exhausted.
