Initially, I faced some challenges pairing this remote control with my computer. However, I suspect the hiccup might be more related to Windows 11 than the remote itself.What truly stands out about this remote is its versatility. The ability to adjust the speed, font size, and navigate seamlessly within your script is invaluable. It offers a level of control that enhances the teleprompting experience.However, there's a slight drawback. It seems the remote might enter a sleep mode after periods of inactivity. This can be a bit disruptive, especially during recording sessions when you need to adjust your script's position.Having tried multiple teleprompter remotes, I can confidently say this one tops the list. I use with Little Prompter. The combination works very well.

I recommend using this remote control unit with the Elegant Teleprompter Pro app. Works great on my Android Samsung Galaxy Tab A. The only negative is that the written instructions that came in the box give incorrect instructions on how to pair the bluetooth remote unit to another device. I had to watch the manufacturer's video to learn how easy it is to pair this remote control to my tablet. Also, be aware that the device automatically shuts off after about 12 minutes of non-use to save battery power. I think a work-around is to periodically tap the "speed up" and "slow down" keys to defeat the auto shut-off feature. This unit also cost much less than another brand I had purchased but did not like due to poor performance. Overall, this teleprompter remote control is a great value. I am pleased, and have already recommended this unit to friends. Buy it. I think you will like it.

Cheaply made plastic looks like someone 3D printed it. Seems like a Trojan horse for hackers. Both QR codes in the included "instruction sheet" take you to a security warning that the website may be fake and could be a man-in-the-middle attack, stealing your information. If you ask me, this is just a crappy overpriced device ($9 tops) that is used as bait for mining your personal data.

I picked this up to use with the Teleprompter app. First up, the app is great and the remote is well made. Here is the good/bad about the remote itself:Good:Well-made, decent range, and fantastic for starting/stopping/replaying your script. Enlarging the size of a script is easy.Bad:The rest of the controls aren't quite as responsive. Editing text with the remote is awful; adjusting the speed of the text isn't easy (sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't).It's worth $25 or whatever I paid and I do use the remote and app daily. It would be worth a lot more if the controls were more responsive and easier to use. If all you need is a start/stop button (or enlarger) for your teleprompter, this is great. If you want to edit in the app or control the speed with the remote, prepare to get very frustrated.
