A clever product which takes a bit of time to get to know how to get the best out of it. The instructions were worse than useless and I got more information from forums and other online sources on how to use it fully. Battery life not great. However, it is very clever.

I bought this in 2022, and I'm still pretty happy with it in 2024. At £169 at time of writing, this is a solid price for a good watch.The vivoactive 4 is a good mix of lifestyle and fitness; covering a wide range of basis. The only thing I really find lacking is that I can't load swimming workouts to it. (You can track a swim, just not follow a workout). Maps aren't built in, but can be relatively easily added as a third party screen for £2-3, and work really well.Sure, the Vivoactive 5 is better, of course it is. But it's often nearly twice the price. And really, unless you really want some of the fancier stats, it's not *that* much better. This hits a real sweet spot in the lineup; I'd get it again.

I am sure u need to get used to some bits but it kicked my ass into gear ⚙ which is great. Loads if apps etc... considering I had the original vivoactive this doesn't compare battery wise, but I have what I like on there and charging is reasonably quick (an hour).I love my barmy garmy.It has regulated itself to me and we're a team. I wanted swimming function which is why in my price capability and bias to my original vivoactive.I'd love table tennis option, but I put it as cardio so it still records the activity.I think if you try to load too many apps and widgets space will be quickly diminished. But that's not much bother for me, as my phone picks up the slack.

This is my second watch from this brand and have to say it is great. Like most watches - The battery life depends on how much you use it. I use it every day from swimming, walking and running. It uses nearly 30% of the battery for that one day, Not bad when you think about it but you have to remember to charge it every other day. If you it paired with your phone, it will send you reminders. Strap can be a little bit irritating but that's just me as I only take it off when it is been charged. Would highly recommend.
