Yes, the lens is dark. Now for a short narrative regarding Ray Ban's warranty policy. It sucks. Pay them $12.50 and they don't repair and they keep the money.

What is the temple length measurement for the 54mm? Curious because I have tried these on locally and the temples don't quite reach around my ear.

Bad quality. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Right arm is warped. If you contact customer service, you cannot speak to an actual person. They looked at my photos and said I could pay to have it adjusted at Lens Crafters. They want me to pay to have a brand new pair of $175 sunglasses, which I just bought, repaired. The glasses arrived to me this way. Lens Crafters said the arm is warped and not adjustable. I did not ask for new glasses, just a new arm. Terrible service. Buyer beware.
