I used the brace as a support for a torn meniscus cartilage & osteoarthritis. It is the best product I could have bought. Full doses of neproxen & tramadol didn't help as much as this brace. I now manage on 2-3 ibuprofen a day.....no more high bp nosebleeds to endure!!

Basically a good product however, nothing was included to provide information on wearing or care for the item (how tight to apply it, how long it may be worn, can it be worn overnight/in bed, product care (cleaning, drying etc,,)). I know that most of this can be sourced from the web/customer comments, but to have reference material with the item would have been helpful. Having said that, I am - after trial and error, getting some welcome support and pain relief from wearing this brace, therefore I can recommend it.

I recently twisted my knee and have been experiencing joint pain and some weakness. Having already had existing knee issues, I felt I wanted to look for a product to offer slightly more support that my usual tubular bandage, as I needed to return to work, where I am on the move a great deal, pushing wheelchairs and engaging in active pursuits.I was concerned about the sizing when ordering this item, as I do have larger thighs (am a size 16 female) and my measurement in this area was above those suggested on the size chart. I needed something asap though and couldn't find anything that seemed to suit my needs more.I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. It has elastic around the middle and thick velcro tabs forming the top and bottom, meaning it is easily adjustable. It doesn't feel restrictive when on and is comfortable, without any chafing or other such negative points. It fits me perfectly, despite my initial concerns.This product, of course, doesn't eliminate knee issues, but does enable the joint to be supported. I have found that after a fair amount of exertion in a day, I do still really struggle come the evening, and so this product does only help to a certain extent. It is ideal for people engaging in a sporting activity- it has been great for gym classes and meant I could go back sooner than I would have otherwise.I got this as it came up as during my search as something good for swimming, which I needed it for, for work. As such I thought it may be waterproof in some way. Unfortunately it did mean that it would be good during the activity, but would take a fair amount of time to dry and so couldn't be worn afterwards.I'm pleased with how this had helped and with the sizing. It is a little tricky to set right if the elastic gets twisted whilst off, but once I figured this out I could wear it for a good few hours daily, which helped me when I needed it most.

I had just started running and I hurt my knee. I tried loads of different braces but none would stay up as I have big leg muscles. when I saw that this had the straps which give more support I thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did. during my recovery I used this brace to help with walking. as I got better I was able to run with it. I did have to put a bit of cloth on the back of the knee when I ran as the Velcro rubbed my leg. but it was ok when walking. this helped me through my injury and I am ok now. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for the other knee just in case. this is a good brace with lots of support. great for the price. I would highly recommend.

HThey did this with no questions asked so the seller is 5* for their support.Thank youFor anyone hoping to get a supportive yet comfortable brace for your grinding or hearing and unstable knees DON'T BUY THIS!!I made the mistake of thinking it would fit having measured my thigh and thinking if it fit men it would fit me as it was universal fit - NOT SO!!The straps at the back thigh didn't even MEET, let alone overlap to adhere to the velcro so I couldn't get it on to try the fit.I should have bought a more expensive one with different sizes and not gone off the pictures and average customer reviews.I'm sorry to the seller but these do come from Asia region, I believe and their sizing is different to ours.If you have very thin legs and the meniscus or ligaments and tendons are early stage of degeneration maybe it could help.However NO GOOD for osteoarthritis degenerative knee conditions with torn meniscus, frayed tendons, fluid in the knee and bursitis as well as patellar wear and tear

I bought this product to replace an existing knee support as it was constantly falling down when I exercised, this one has not yet done that and I don't expect it to, the fabric it is made of is very comfortable and if it weren't for the tightness of it I would forget it was there

This brace is strong and the Velcro fastening stays put. My knee is now behaving itself perfectly.But I have deducted one star because it is a bit too heavy to wear in bed, so I had to leave it off overnight. This is very likely my own fault - I would have been better off buying a simpler and lighter type of brace.Also it is worth bearing in mind that I am a little old lady, only five feet tall, so for a big weight-lifting man this could be very good indeed.I did wear it by day for several days, and found it uncomfortable, but it did the job, kept my knee in place until it recovered, and therefore I am pleased overall.
