We have the “LEVOIT Air Purifier for Home Allergies Pet Hair in Bedroom” and we use the “LEVOIT Genuine Core 300-P Replacement Filter” which is the standard HEPA and activated carbon filter.At the start, we took out the filter every week to gently vacuum it; now, it’s every two weeks. It will be obvious to you how many particles it captures in your space, besides all the small ones you don’t see that the carbon part of the filter traps. It’s recommended that you replace the filters every 6-8 months, depending on the environment. In our case, we typically replace ours after 6 months because we live where there is a lot of pollen for most of the year.Yes, they cost a bit more than the knock-offs, but you're paying for quality and efficiency. When it comes to the air you're breathing, it's not worth cutting corners. We will be sticking with the official Levoit filters.

These are excellent filters that really work and last quite a while before needing to be replaced. I once made the mistake of purchasing an off brand filter for my unit and it didn't last half the time these do. They really collect the dust and remove smells from a room quickly. No more generics for me!!

I have two levoit purifiers in my home and they both take this size filter. I like that this filter is brand specific (not a knock off) and that they last about six months or so in my purifiers. Simple to install, just open the box, take the filter out of the plastic, open up the purifier, take out the old filter (and be grossed out and also pleased about how dirty the old filter is), put in the clean one, close the purifier up and you are good to go. Works well. Order on subscribe and save so you don't forget to order them.

This filter is a lifesaver. And much more affordable than my other brand of air filter as well. It sucks up so much dust and dirt. I’ll plead guilty in that every few months I’ll vacuum the filter instead of replacing it, but will replace it the next time around. Just to stretch them a bit further. But I should specify this isn’t recommended by the manufacturer. Hard for me to imagine any air filter that isn’t a Levoit in the future.

Breath of fresh air — literally. Yes, they’re pricier than the knockoffs, but the quality is obvious: no weird chemical smell, they slide right in, and they make the air purifier purr like new. My allergies are less dramatic, the dust count is down, and my house no longer smells like a ‘teenage gym bag with extra mystery.’ Worth every penny for peace of lung. They last about 3-4 months in a two dog, heavy dust ridden, Houston house. Quiet as a mouse. Work very well! Perfect fit for my air purifier.

I buy this air filter for my air purifier every 6 months! It works great! Very easy installation, and doesn’t create a lot of noise. It cleans the air better than you think, and designed super well!

I'm a repeat buyer of this great product and am not saying anything now that others haven't already said: a little on the more expensive side, but worth the price for the quality of effectiveness and duration of use before a replacement is needed.(A quick warning related to how you purchase this: my most recent purchase was as "used" from Amazon Resale to save 10 dollars, and even though the filter looked almost new, the Seller didn't even clean the dust out of it before shipping it - I had to vacuum the dust out of it before initial use.)
