Bought 2, one for myself and my hubs. Had these for 5 months now. We go on frequent runs outside and these have been absolutely wonderful. They are so easy to strap onto your hand, the size and fit is perfect and they DO not leak. I’ve washed and used these many times and can confirm the taste was only silicon-like the first one or two times. Just soak them and wash and the taste goes away quickly.

Full disclosure, I don’t like to carry anything on my hands while I run, so that fact that I am singing this product’s praises say a lot! The quality of the flask is amazing (I just wish it held more water). It does not leak and the drinking part is very good. You squeeze down with your teeth and the water comes out. I saw a lot of reviews that had issues with the strap (I did swell at first). They are just using it wrong. For the strap to be effective, the bottle needs something on it. So as I drank my water while running, I would blow air on the bottle and that kept it sturdy against my hand and keeping the strap tight. Overall it is a very good bottle and I highly recommend it.

Use it for road and mountain running constantly - easy and fast to recharge, comfortable in the hand, don’t weight too much.

The flask itself is pretty good. The handheld strap, however, is worse than useless. The material is rough around the edges, literally, and is narrow, so a full flask digs into your hand more than it should. I ended up repurposing an old Orange Mud handheld, which works far better. Hydrapak, take note.The "speed" flip-open lid is a bit of a gimmick. Another reviewer pointed out that keeping the lid attached means you’re less likely to grab the wrong one at a race aid station, which is a fair point. But the tab is so stubborn that I usually just unscrew the whole thing out of frustration, making the flip-top feature useless. And even if you do manage to pop it open, the spout is much narrower than the actual flask opening, meaning ice cubes are pretty much out of the question—so much for insulation helping with cold drinks. Not that it matters much, since the insulation does not seem to make a noticeable difference anyway.On the upside, the insulation does make the flask more structured, which helps when tossing it in the dishwasher. If you’re thinking about getting one, save yourself a few bucks and skip the version with the strap.

Works great, the inside does come with a very plasticky smell so I scrubbed it with little bit soap, then let it soak with vinegar and warm water, then soak with baking soda and work water. After use you need to take it ALL apart to let dry, or mold will grow like in other reviews pics.
