Really solid and heavy key safe
This is a very sturdy key safe with nice clear number buttons. It seems solidly made and has very clear instructions on how to set up your chosen code of up to 6 numbers. The code is easy to set and change if you want to. Easy to fit, as you use the outer rubberised weatherproof case as a template to mark out and screw the entire unit to a wall with four large bolts (supplied) and tightened, ideally, with a socket set.My only criticism is that you can't use the same digit twice in your code and it doesn't matter which order you enter your digits. In other words, if you set a code of 123456 , any combination of those 6 numbers will open the key safe. It just reduces the number of possible combinations but shouldn't be a major issue.

Solid piece of kit
The safe arrived in a sturdy box and clear instructions for installation. Also supplied is a weatherproof case, a small key for setting the combination, and four 50mm masonry bolts. The hook inside will take several keys, but they will all need to have their own keyring. (Note that rawplugs are NOT supplied, and so I used brown plugs which worked fine.)Installation was straightforward, but remember to set and check the unlock code before closing the lid for the first time. (The code can be 4-6 unique characters.) All buttons have a nice positive click and the case is very sturdy.Overall, a quality product which is worth the purchase cost.

Very solidly made key safe, rubbish bolts!
I've had this a while now and it's stood up to the weather well. The key safe itself is clearly very solidly made and well designed. The rubber cover is a particularly good idea.My only complaint is that the supplied bolts were rubbish. Despite drilling the recommended hole into good solid blockwork (and I'm a competent DIY'er) the bolts were not strong enough to screw in. One head sheared off, and I had to leave one sitting proud because it was clearly going to do the same.I'd recommend buying some decent quality bolts and throwing the supplied ones in the bin.

Very substantial
ordered this for my parents house as it is a requirement of visiting carers. there are many cheaper option but this seemed a good option. heavy item made of good quality heavy materials, simple instruction on how to use and supplied with fitting screws, however i did supply my own wall plugs etc. fitted to solid brick wall in 10-15 minutes and ready to go. i installed in a small porch area so waterproof was not required i would say it may struggle in heavy rain but does have a plastic cover which clips shout to isolate the unit and protect keypad.

Good strong product
Good sturdy key safe. Relatively easy to install, but you will need a few tools such as a small socket set to screw the anchoring thunderbolts into a brick wall. The waterproof plastic cover isn't that impressive and could see the closing catch breaking in due course. Additionally, you can only use digits once, so if you have a code in mind that has repetitive numbers, then you will have to think up a new code that everyone can remember.

Design fault on cover.....otherwise Well made and easy to use safe with plenty of room for the largest of keys
I am revising this review. as the two boxes we have, have both had the rubber cover hinge break. One box we hardly ever open (used for emergencies) and yet the thin rubber hinge has got brittle and broken. This means that the cover is not held in at the bottom and when removed to access the keys, comes right off in your hand. Purchased Jan 2017 hinge perished by May 2017.... such a pity as see my original review below.I bought one of these for a friend some months ago and now I have got one for myself. They are easy to bolt to brick - just use 5 mm masonry bit to correct depth and then use a socket set to screw the bolts straight into the brick. These have large buttons, easy to use. Plenty of room in the box and it all hinges down so no loose bits. I like it that the rubber cover disguises the box to look like a junction box. Some key safes look so obvious what they are.People who have had problems, I suspect have not read the instructions carefully and have made mistakes in setting the combinations. Take your time and NEVER close the lid until you have tested the combination with the door open first. The only valid concern is the small number of combinations. If this was a barrel type combination lock with say 4 number combination. Each number disk would have 10 possibilities and the number sequence would have to be in order. With this lock a 4 number combination can be entered in any order. So codes 1234 4321 2314 4231 would all be the same combination as far as someone trying to brake the combination was concerned. However someone would have to be there for a long while trying different combinations and would not know if you had chosen 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 numbers to open it. To me it is safe enough and the ease of use and size more than compensates. It is a solid unit. well made.
