Brilliant but Take your time building it
I run a children's afterschool club for children aged 5-12 and bought this as thought it would be a novel twist on the standard snakes and ladders game. It took a while for me to to set up the night before and although it is quite sturdy its a shame it wasnt made of plastic as I think over time it will get damaged as its made of cardboard. Ive decided to keep it assembled as it takes a while to put together and I think if you kept taking it down to put away it would soon become a bit tatty on the edges. I took it to the afterschool club yesterday and the children absolutely loved it. One child (aged 8) said it was the best game he'd ever seen and he loved it. The children all gathered round it and were fixated with all the ways they slide down the snakes tails and up the ladders, enthusiastically pointing out to me all the moves they had just made ( It looks a bit like a multi storey carpark!). Although it was a bit pricey I loved watching the children of all ages enjoy it and kept them occupied for hours, I had to peel them away from it when their parents came to collect them - I have to say I loved playing with it too (and Im nearly 50!)

Good fun
I bought this game as a christmas present for my 6 and 4 year old grandchildren. The 6 year old was able to construct the game (with a little help) which pleased him greatly, and added additional fun to the game. It's been a huge success. It's not difficult to assemble but is a bit flimsy in places and one small piece broke the first time we played it. Easy for them to follow, good fun to play, would highly recommend.

Brilliant game for all the family
We bought one of these for my 6 year old son a few years ago and played it so many times - (he absolutely loved it). After a move of house it finally fell apart and we have bought another one. I have also bought one for a nine year old nephew with a six year old brother. It takes a bit of time to put together and needs to be kept in its built form - we keep it on a tray on a shelf. It is a fantastic game for all the family and I can’t praise it highly enough.

Great fun
Grandsons love, with enough catches, you think you've nearly won then down a hole and back to the lower rows

More sturdy than it looks!
My kids were given this about 8 years ago, I still use it regularly in my after school program. It must have been played 100s of times. Kids aged 4-9 love it. Yes it's battered now but it still works. It looks a lot more fragile than it is. Thoroughly recommended.

Difficult assembly. Ok in use.
This was a nuisance to assemble. I would not have got it if I knew what awaited me. Not as enjoyable to play as you would think. After a few novelty games it has fallen apart and disappeared.
