I wrote a review because initially it took a long time to charge. After the first few charges, the charge time became normal. I will leave the review I left, as it was all accurate, except for the fact that it indicated a less than stellar product because of the change time. That is not the case. It is solid, and has proved itself.It costs 50% more for 25% more run time than their 2.0Ah batter, which is fine and expected. It delivers on that. For my intended application, which is continual running, it's not nearly as good of a battery as the 2.0Ah because it takes 3 to 4 times as long to recharge.

Can’t find in stores. Great to have a new battery with extra power.

I bought Kobalt mower 8 years ago. The battery that came with it lasted that long. I decided to buy an extra battery pretty sure one would not last 45 minutes on a spring lawn. I was correct so I bought an extra battery to be sure and it’s 8 years old. I’ve been able to do my lawn for 8 years using two fully charged batteries. I have 3 now since I bought kobalt blower 7 years ago and they are interchangeable. That battery still working.This spring I noticed the older batteries are starting to deplete their charge faster. Still got good power. I go through 3 now with one mowing. So I ordered 2 new Kobalt batteries last week. Both are as good as the original ones were 7 years ago. I hope I will get the longevity with these as I did with my first ones.The price through Amazon is reasonable.

I wasn't pleased with the price.It charges decently fast, about an 1-2 hours for a full charge.It fits just fine in the original mower, though it is smaller and has less capacity than the original battery.

Works great for my leaf blower.

Summary: I do not recommend this product. It was fine at first, but now it refuses to charge.Full description: I purchased this battery a little over a month ago. It came with about half charge already in it, so I charged it up with the charger I already had for my other batteries.I used this battery for my trimmer and blower. I was able to use it twice (because I do my yard every other weekend) and by time the second use was finished, and I needed to recharge it, it decides to stop accepting charge.Description of problem:So what happens is the battery will run out of juice like normal, and you’ll push the battery indicator and the little green light will flash at one bar telling you it’s dead.So, like always, you place it on the charger. The charger (which charges my 2 other batteries that I bought from my local Lowe’s store) flashes green like it always done while the battery is charging. You think everything is going well... until about 15 minutes or so go buy and you hear this very faint little buzzing/beeping noise.At first I didn’t know where it came from, so I searched around. That’s when I realized it was my battery. The charger light had switched from flashing green to flashing red.I took the battery off the charger and pressed the indicator button. It was still dead.I decided to try it again and let it charge for up to 3 hours, taking it off and checking the level periodically. Still... no luck...So borrowed my brother-in-laws charger for his batteries, and the same thing happened. Our chargers work great on our other batteries, but not this one, unfortunately.I came on here to see if I could return or exchange this as it might just be a fluke with this specific battery, but I had missed my return date by about 2 weeks. 🤦🏻‍♂️From now on, I’ll just be buying my batteries in person at Lowe’s. Those have yet to disappoint me.Also, anyone want a faulty battery? I know a guy. 😂

I have all Kobalt lawn equipment. These batteries are great and you need a few to keep going, as one drains, charge another and by the time that one drains the other is ready. They do discharge after a while and need to be replaced. This one came shrink wrapped and shiny, and charged up in no time at all. Ready for Spring! Thank you!
