Why the huge disparity in price between roll on and spray?

The price has increase drastically in the last few weeks for some reason, it was always about £2.50 per bottle but now it’s £4 more!! Have been waiting for it to drop/normalise but no sign yet 😕 Other retailers are the same or just not available, so maybe it’s being phased out or an ingredient is unavailable so they can charge silly money for it?!
