I've used this mousse for almost 10 years. I have dry 2b wavy hair that can get curlier depending on what products and methods I use. Usually, I like to let it air dry and put some of this on first thing after waking. On my way to work, I scrunch out the crunch because it's dry at that point, and the result is light to moderately held waves that I get compliments on all the time. I do deal with a lot of frizz due to the high humidity in my area, but my hair is mostly smooth when I use this, and usually shiny. There is a light scent that isn't overbearing. I also find this to not be drying - if anything, I'd consider this mousse to be mildly hydrating.My local stores stopped carrying this, so I tried other brands like Garnier and Aussie. My hair had some big issues with those, so I ordered this from Amazon. The price is a little higher, but my hair is happy and back to normal.

I wish I had thought to take before and afters before I finished BOTH BOTTLES! This is my new favorite curly product! I've already bought more just to give away! When I tell you, a slight misting of water and generous mouse application and even my HUSBAND thinks I must have showered. Endless compliments on my hair when I use this, and I am never going back to gel only. Put away that little voice in you that says "less is more" and "watch out for the roots". DO IT! Generous application, straight to the roots too, a little love and zshoosh and my 2-3 day hair is 1 day fresh! Big volume, tamed and clumped curls, frizzless and touchable soft! I'm in my 50s and I've tried them all from expensive salon brands to cheap drugstore brands. This is by far the best. I don't get tangles anymore, my hair is soft and I don't lose tons of hair in the shower like I used to!

I really like this mousse. It gets rid of my frizz and makes my hair curl perfectly. The way it works depends on how much mousse you use. If you want really soft curls, then don't use as much. If you use a lot, your hair with get a bit more crunchy, but it will still have a lot of volume and get the job done well. It is also very good if you just want straight or wavy hair.Since my curls aren't as good after I sleep, I usually spend one day with curly hair, the next day with straight or wavy hair, and then I take a shower that night or the next morning.

I have curly hair and am always on the market trying to find the right products that work best for it. I have achieved that with my hair gel and shampoo/conditioner, but I have yet to find a product that my hair loves as a touch-up beyond wash day.I used to use my herbal essence mousse RELIGIOUSLY but have been finding that it's not working as well as I would have liked anymore. My biggest grip with my hair is always trying to keep the frizz down and refreshing it for day 2+ hair. I bought the John Frieda mousse to give a whack at it and read reviews about how this was a game-changer for many.the reviews are RIGHT! TRUST ME!!! This new mousse is so easy to easy, no hassle at all. I always add it to my routine post-shower and it has enhanced my curl pattern even more with no crunchy/cast left behind. For my girlies who are struggling to refresh their hair for day 2+, THIS IS THE MAGIC BOTTLE!!! My hair has adored this mousse so much that I'm in love with how easy it is to review my curls and tame the frizz more because I hate having to jump back in the shower to reset my hair again. Good for curly hair

Love this stuff. It gives you soft bouncing curls.

Gave me nice curls but made my hair feel very dry, didn't like the feel at all.
