It may be higher priced than similar trail mixes but the difference in quality is more than worth the price. The nuts, fruits, and seeds are select, using only the plumpest fruits and freshest nuts. On average, I order a couple each week and am never disappointed; it is very consistent.

Very tasty and healthy

I took a look at the nutritional content of the so called "healthy" snacks that we were eating and was shocked to see how really unhealthy these "healthy" snacks were. We went looking for a healthy snack, preferably without salt and low in sugar. It needed to taste good. We wanted individual snack/travel packs for portion control, but most of what we found failed our "healthy" definition by more than one nutritional quality. We decided to try these trail mixes based on the reviews and nutritional content. And we made a promise to measure portions - and to only slightly round up portions when hungry :-) We're glad that we did. These mixes are far better tasting than all of the other premium (and expensive) brands that we have tried in the past. The nuts and fruit are large, fresh and mostly intact. The bags were packed well in a big zip lock type bag, then padded and shipped in a box. The care in packaging made it clear that quality and user experience were important to this small family run company. Take a chance and try these nut mixes - you'll be very happy that you did.Updated 9/5/2024I have purchased these Mixed Nuts 4 times and have been impressed with the freshness. This last time all of the bags had considerably more seeds than on prior purchases. Perhaps it's just the luck of the draw, but it would be disappointing if this was a planned change in the balance of mix.
