Worked wellI had a shower that needed the valve body replaced. My options were to take the siding, moisture barrier and sheathing off from the outside, or cut the fiberglass enclosure a little from the inside. This allowed me to replace the valve body from inside the shower without sweating/burning and only having to add a cover plate. I chose this unit after looking at several similar ones, I was paying close attention the amount of pinch on the fitting after the crimp in the videos some of these had. I think this one seems to have the dies aligned better, or maybe better dies. The pinching looked very similar to the results from the $2000 power tools. Great unit, I'm glad I paid the extra $20.

For the price it gets the job done. Is it simple in tight spaces? No. But it does pex and pro press in a single tool for under $200 so worth it for the diy’er.

Works good. Don’t pump it too much. But for the price you can’t ask for much better. Easy to use and it Works as it should. And is built well.

Have used this tool on numerous plumbing projects without any leaks!! Make sure tool jaws are set properly on pro press fitting and you won’t have a leak!!!!
