Very nice set up for strip lights compared with other similar seeming kits.
UPDATE AT THE BOTTOMI have been using a lot of different accent lighting kits over the last couple of years, and variety of roles. Typically, I buy 5050 RGB lights, either by themselves or in a kit, and then use Wi-Fi controller to drive their behavior. This kid is different in that it is addressable by segments, meaning that along once trip, each set of three LEDs can be set to a desired color. This allows the number of lighting effects, animated effects, and gradients in a single strip. It also features a pretty sophisticated app that allows you to do a lot of customization, and picking of colors.I also have to say that although most of my RGB strips claim to be 16 million colors, in reality they don't seem to be very good at reproducing hues beyond primary or secondary colors. This lighting strip seems to be much more precise at its ability to produce true colors that largely match what you choose in the color wheel. So far, I've seen two drawbacks that have to do with luminance. One of them is that luminance seems to be disregarded in the color wheel. That is, choosing a darker version of a color in the color wheel won't actually darken the color as presented. This means that you couldn't have two segments that are the same color, for example, but at different brightness. This seems odd to me, but it is what it is.The other thing is that there is a brightness slider which will brighten or dim the entire strip, but at 1%, the strip is still quite bright. This strip also supports some conventional features, like effects based on sound input through a microphone, though I could not get them to calibrate to zero in my brief attempts, and then some very cool animated color schemes that sort of vibe with or suggest various moods.UPDATE: so having used these lights for a little while I can say that a lot of what I said initially holds true. The quality seems to be pretty strong as well as the color reproduction. However, given that the lights are Bluetooth controlled, and the only control they have on them physically is three buttons, one which turns it on, one which cycle s through colors, and one which flips through the activation modes like Sound Sensitivity and then what style, it's kind of amazing that you can't control these lights using something like Alexa or Google home. Also, as I stated before, the 1% brightness setting is very readily bright enough to read by, and the 100% setting is almost too bright to look at. This may mean it's actually better suited for your use, but it's worse for mine.I did just test now that the lights retain their setting if they lose power, so if they're on, and I remove the power, but when I restore the power the lights come back on set to the same color they were on, however for some reason it does this momentary sequence of showing red green and then the correct color. This isn't horrible, but it makes it possible to use the system with a smart outlet to turn it on and off using Google home or Alexa.I would say their ideal application is for recessed or concealed lighting and a common area where you're not typically turning them on or off a lot, or were you may occasionally want some party lighting or mood lighting.

MUST HAVE
I recently added LED light strips to my room, and they’ve completely transformed the space! These lights are fantastic. They offer a vibrant, customizable glow that enhances the entire atmosphere. The colors are rich and the brightness is perfect, whether you want a soft ambiance or a more intense look. What really sets them apart is the app. It's super user-friendly, allowing me to control the lights effortlessly from my phone. I can change colors, adjust brightness, and even set timers or sync the lights with music, all with a few taps. The app works seamlessly, which makes using the lights even more enjoyable.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with these LED light strips. They’re a great addition to any room and the smart features are a huge bonus! Highly recommended!

I loved it because so easy to install and customize length, and stays where you want without falling off or pealing back.If you want really good room lights....these are the ones to buy.I will definitely be buying some for other rooms.

Overall Experience
The media could not be loaded. Hello! I'd like to provide you with my review, highlighting the pros, cons, and some helpful tips, none of this would be in order.PROS:Adhesive: While not astonishing, the adhesive on these LED lights is worthy of speaking. Unlike previous LED lights I've purchased that fell within hours, these ones are holding up great. If you have a smooth wall, you'll have no trouble at all. I struggled a bit due to the bumps on my wall, but once the adhesive made contact with the wall, it works great.App Control: Since this product doesn't include a remote control, you'll have to use either the power box or the app. I opted for the app, and I have no complaints about it. It uses Bluetooth and allows for further customization of the lights.Quality: The quality of these LED lights is noticeably superior to the cheap $10 ones you find. They are sturdy and well-made, although there is a slight drawback to be mentioned later.Brightness: The brightness of these lights is simply amazing. It's definitely their standout feature. I'll provide a video above showcasing each color at its brightest setting, so you can judge for yourself.Cutting: Contrary to misinformation, you can indeed cut these LED lights if needed, although it's not recommended by the company. In the tips section, I'll guide you on how to do it properly with an image above helping you understand.CONS:Packaging: The packaging needs improvement. I strongly recommend LED companies to stop using flimsy tape. Unfortunately, the beginning of the LED strip bent too much due to the packaging, and I had to contact customer support. Thankfully, I didn’t have any problems getting a replacement. Thank you Kathy.Power Box: Functionally, the power box is fine, but setting up the LED lights with it was annoying. It was one of the major issues I encountered during installation. The power box is too heavy, causing the lights to fall off the wall repeatedly. I'll share a tip below on how to address this problem.Bending: Here's where the product loses a star. These LED lights are not meant to be bent AT ALL. They come with cables and a control box that cannot be removed, so you need to adjust them downward to avoid an awkward look. Even the designated bending area doesn't work well; it feels fragile and prone to breaking. The initial portion of the LED strip should be more flexible, I wouldn’t be surprised if I actually ended up breaking these because of it.TIPS:Clean: Clean your wall with the alcohol packets provided before applying the adhesive. Your wall isn't regularly cleaned, and if it is don't worry, I'm not a judge. Typically, dirt sticks to the adhesive instead of the wall.Cutting: The highlight of this review—yes, you can cut the LED lights. Here's how: I'll include an image above with directions. Look for the three copper points spaced a few inches apart, each with a line in the middle. When deciding how much to cut, aim to cut exactly in the middle or, WHAT I RECOMMEND, a tiny bit away from the line. Just to note you're still on the copper point but your a few millimeters from the middle line. Why I don't recommend cutting in the middle is because if you cut straight in the middle, there's a chance you'll cut both side and you'll have to move to the next copper point. Keep in mind that once you cut it, the side with the excess won't work anymore.Cutting: Another big tip is if you do turn out having a lot of excess LED lights, try practicing it on those before you cut where you need to for it to fit your room perfectly. This is what I did and I actually ended up cutting those copper side points so I’m glad I followed this.TIPS: Please have strong tape or a person helping you on the beginning part of this. This is the most frustrating part of setting it up since they will keep falling down because of the weight.TIPS: Once you do cut it and the LED’s still don’t perfectly fit your wall just try placing it on top of each other at the ends. Just don’t have it at the maximum brightness because they can probably overheat if you do this. Also don’t bend it since it’s the actual part of the LEDs.TIPS: Measure your room, either with a measuring tape or actually put the LED's up too see how much actually fits and once you're done take them back down and cut. This is my overall experience and hope this will help anyone.
