My daughter and I have been decorating and carving pumpkins since she was little. At 25 we still love to carve pumpkins, but I can't do the knives anymore, so this was great for me with an injured shoulder, and aging hands. It is loud, I mean you are banging a hammer on metal,but I enjoyed being able to make a face with relative ease. The only problem is the head came off the hammer, and we were lucky it just hit a wall, not one of us in the head. I accidentally got two kits, and both hammers broke. Just needs re-glued, but annoying in the middle of carving.

Makes it really easy to carve a pumpkin- only one problem- it came with only one eyebrow, and you can’t flip it or turn it to make the eyebrows the same. Had to just flip it on the blunt side and hit it with the hammer hard to make a pattern. But turned out good still!

Great idea and easier than freehand craving, but difficult to use especially for younger children.

These worked great. As most parents know, carving pumpkins to kids sounds fun but the reality is parents carve pumpkins! My kids 2,4,6,8 we're able to pick out which cutters they wanted and they participated more than traditionally.

I was really surprised how well made this kit is and sturdy. Our Halloween carving will be closer to Halloween. I know the kit will be great!!

Loved this product! Only thing I recommend is using a REAL hammer because the one that came with the kit broke while hammering.

Excellent product! My 7 and 8 year old made their pumpkin without difficulty.

Great idea, should be easy to use. Except, one tap of the mallet/ hammer, it broke. Then using my own rubber mallet, one of the metal pieces bent. So definitely not sturdy.
