USB C PCIe Card SuperSpeed 10Gbps with 2 USB C and 2 Internal Port(Type-E,19 Pin USB 3.0 Header) PCI-E Expansion Cards PCI Express Front Panel Adapter for Desktop PC

My motherboard didn't have an internal USB-C header and my HYTE Y60 case did, so I decided to buy a PCIe card to add an internal USB-C header. Since the Y60 has low-profile PCIe slots for everything except the GPU, I needed a card with a half-height bracket. This one fit the bill, and also adds two additional type C ports on the back of the PC. Since my motherboard already provided the front USB-3.0 header, I decided to also buy a low profile USB 3.0 bracket with two ports to install alongside this card to make use of its USB 3.0 header. Now I have two additional USB 3.0 and two additional USB C ports on the back of my PC as well as a fully functional front type C. Exactly what I wanted!If you have a motherboard with a limited selection of USB ports, this is a great addition to your build.

This appears to be the cat's meow and very useful. I will test it and report back.One note....those 19 pin connectors are just way too grabby and tight and there are many stories of people pulling up motherboard connections along with this type of plug.It helps to exercise the plug at least ten times and then you will see just how much force is used to hold this simple USB cable on. I have taken to completely sanding off the back row of lumps on the 19 pin connector and trimming the two front lumps real good....the plug stays put just fine....your mileage may vary and you may want a bit more grab...its easy to do....but do take some time (10 minutes?) to trim those connectors down and you will be happy you did....this board rocks, BTW....a great value and working fine on all cylinders....

Card looked nice and was easy to install. If you follow the instructions, it does say that you have to update the drivers. I went to their website and updated the drivers and was off and running. However, this is not my first time as I have built several of my own computers. The price point was right, and I also now have the ability to hook up three Internal USB devices as well. I did not need the front panel extension, but I did have an old Western Digital HDD Passport that I decided to put internal this card gave me that ability as I was able to find a cable to attach to the 19 pin for the front panel that had 2 USB ends on It. I also found a adapter for the other Type E port That allowed me to expand one more USB internal. I know this is not probably the intended use, but I find it valuable as these days they are coming out with very fast and large thumb drives. You could install these internal and keep your external USB's open for other devices plus you could really expand your computer's memory this way. I like it for me it was the right purchase as I also had no external C Ports. Nice product way to go Yeeliya. It works for me, and I believe others will like this product also 5/5 from me.

The USB 3.0 Header does not work. I needed an extra header as my motherboard only has 1 and the case has 2 front panel plugs which are split between 4 USB 3.0 outlets. I swapped the cables between the motherboard and card a few times to test, only the header on the motherboard works. The USB header on this card is defective although though the USB c on the back of the card does work. The card has a QC sticker on it which must have been intended as a joke.

Simple install, instant USB C connection for my desktop computer. Windows 10 recognized the card with no additional software installs necessary. I can now run an external hard drive dock without issue, allowing high speed access for remote file access and media viewing. I'm pleased with my purchase!

I had a motherboard that had one USB-c in the back but none for the front panel support. I need to add some onto a older Asus TUF board. I bought this to add 2 additional usb-c ports to the system. I didn't do any speed testing but just know it works very well. The YEELIYA PCIe card is worth buy to add a little bit of speed to your dedicated connectors.

I am new to pc modification/building, so I was a bit ignorant and ran into some trouble with the install. BIOS was up to date and manually went to install the driver as a redundancy, but still had issues.Quick Solution: If you can't get past POST after installing the card, but your PC works normally when the card is removed, you may just need to change your PCIe settings from AUTO to GEN.1 and then install the card.All in all, it does exactly what is needed. I can use my usb-c hub for my PC now as well as my work laptop and this allows me to just change the 1 usb-c cable from laptop to pc rather than 8 cables for all my peripherals. Adds a quality of life aspect to working with multiple computers. Currently using a usbc hub for my work laptop and loathe the swapping of all of my cables (triple monitor setup among other peripherals).The response that solved my issue:Have you tried putting the PCIe riser card in a different PCIe slot?You could also try changing your PCIe settings for the slot from Auto to GEN.1 while you have the board removed, then put it back in and see if it gets through POST.Most of the PCIe riser cards will have backwards compatibility so an older system shouldn't be a problem, but can't rule that out. Do you have an older, small power supply as well? The USB cards can be pretty power hungry and it might not be able to draw enough power. Does your add in card have it's own power port from the PSU?
