Hikvision denying warranty
Purchased this DVR on 8 April 2018 , Worked fine till date , but from today it had problems with HDMI outputs , When contacted with Hikvision the customer care person told that they do not provide warranty for products sold by fake dealers on Amazon .I called back to Amazon and mentioned the product had 2 years warranty written , Now they are telling me to get a certificate of warranty not covered by Hiksvion , Some body is cheating somewhere , I will take it up further , but deeply disaapointed by Amazon

Good product.. fake incorrect invoice provided by seller
The product is working fine. But 3 stars given, becoz the seller provides incorrect invoice without any serial number on it. I have requested for the corrected invoice.. it's been more than 45 days but I have not got the revised invoice with the correct serial number. Very unethical practice by the seller. The Amazon cs team also have no followups.. I have tried calling n raising the issue more than 6 times but have not got the correct invoice yet.

Handy DVR
The DVR is easy to setup, pretty simple process. Someone will little knowledge of computer hardware can set it up easily. I myself had configured everything from putting the HDD to connecting and configuring the cameras. I could not test the IP cameras and remote viewing option yet. The software is not so smooth, sometime gets laggy. I could not find the delete option for the earlier recorded videos (at least nothing in menu), may be overwriting is the only option. The camera auto-switch view is not to my likings, cannot make the choice of bigger view for a particular camera and small view for others in PIP mode. Only camera no. 1 has the bigger view. Still quite handy DVR, working well non-stop for the last 4 weeks.

May be a good product , but without any control on it
It works well but it doesnt have any controls, even an ON/OFF switch, so it is not a good user friendly product

The box had no user Manuel or CD with it how to use it
