invest in Yourself. Quality pens matter!
These really are the bees knees as far as pens go in my opinion. The grip on these make them particularly easy to hold, especially for long-periods of writing. I notice older folks who borrow my pen comment in particular on the grip as well as how easily the ink dispenses so fluidly. The only drawback I can think of is that the ink needs to dry for a moment before it stops being smudgable, particularly on some glossy and or treated paper. Allow some dry time, and you're happy! The barrels are quite durable and it is easy to replace the ink cartridges (PRO TIP: I found these to be a good deal https://amzn.to/3KNlwEY ) thus the longevity and overall value for money of these pens is quite good. Happy writing!

Great pen, good feel for not much money
I've used the basic G2 pens for years (their gel ink lets me write all day without getting hand cramps the way I do with regular ballpoints). On a bit of a lark, when I was purchasing some G2 refills, I decided to get a G2 Limited and a G2 Pro at the same time. How they compare (also, see the user photo I've attached to this listing):Regular G2 -- writes well and smoothly, under $2 each if you buy a dozenG2 Pro (this pen) -- a bit thicker, heavier, more padding in the grip, under $3G2 Limited -- about the same thickness as the G2 Pro, considerably heavier, better finish / metal (vs. plastic) clip, much "squishier" grip (but not to the "Dr. Grip" level), about $11Personally, I go back & forth between the Pro and Limited as to which is my "favorite." The G2 Limited is nicer looking (might be important in some offices), and has a nice heft, more expensive than the rest -- but still a bargain compared to the "usual suspects" of fancy pens. The G2 Pro is sufficiently professional looking for most offices, still has a good heft to it, and has a grip that's padded -- but not excessively (to my tastes). So I guess the choice comes down to how much weight, how much padding, and how much eye appeal you're looking for. As I mentioned, I've used G2 pens for years and never had one break on me -- I'm still using some on their 3rd and 4th refill. So, tough to go wrong with them! Get a Pro or a Limited (as a function of your taste), then buy it refills for years.

Very good deal and easy to write with
Definitely more smoother that my pilot-g2 0.38. At first I thought this was going to be okay, I only bought it for its deal. I wasn't really happy that it was 0.7. After ordering it however, I realized It is SO smooth and a bigger led was not as bad as I thought. I literally use it every single time. I honestly think this better than the pilot limited. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I'll stick with the Classic or limited Edition G-2, the "Pro" is NOT an upgrade for me...
Short version: I find this to be a downgrade from the the original G-2 when considering my writing style/grip.I loved my normal original G-2's, they've been around so long for a reason. The "Pro" tries to adapt the style slightly, use slightly better plastic while retaining the same Ink. The problem is that in the design changes slightly adapted the sizing. I feel like I'm a kid again, using the huge thick crayons meant for kindergartners or younger when I've been used to the standard "big boy" ones.In comparison to the original G2 (you can see in photos) they thickened the shaft of the pen significantly, and extended the "nose" piece longer. Both of these negatively impact my grip and hence my hand writing. The nose piece is the bigger of the problems, as I grip down further on the pen and moving my hand further away from the writing surface decreases control. The extra thickness just feels clumsy and less secure. The rubber grip is fine/similar, just at the increased sizing. It's possible this would be different for other folks (maybe bigger hands?), but none of the other added features outweigh this subtraction to me.They also altered how this pen is taken apart for ink replacement. Rather than having two screw off points like the Classic G-2, there is only one at the nose piece. I appreciate this attempt to increase longevity, as this is where most of my classic G-2's break in the past, however it would take this pen lasting a long-long time before I'm convinced that using what looks like the same inner plastic core will actually bring that longevity per the price. On the Plus side: I do VISUALLY like the sleeker look, but ultimately "Form Follows Function".A minor note for those that are paying less attention to the details in the listing: the INK is BLACK, not blue. Just because the body is one color does not mean the ink is. The ink cartridges are in fact identical to the original G-2, and I've never been displeased with the ink quality.Bottom Line: Unless the larger grip sounds better for you, stick with the classic G-2 OR if you can find it still then the "G-2 Limited" I have similarly vetted and found to be well worth while. (I plan to post a review on that later, if I were a millionaire I'd horde those.) The only way I will be buying more "Pro" versions is if the class/limited become discontinued.
