Very easy to program
They arrived really quickly and a good quality so I believe them to be genuine Hormann parts. Really easy to program inspire of the instructions included.

Easy to pair
Bought as a replacement for a lost fob. Instructions included along with link to a video are easy to follow to pair new fob with an existing fob. However depending on the unit within the garage a further step may be required to also pair the new fob to the unit itself. This step is easy to find online. Process all in all easy to complete & works well

Easy when you know how
This remote is a lot smaller than I thought, but that's great - goes well on a key ring with car key. Tried several times to program the new remote via an existing one, but no luck. The code copies across, but still the new remote doesn't open and close the door. Came across this fix in this situation: If, after a successful code transfer from another remote you still find that the new remote doesn't function then you need to press and hold the same button on the new hand transmitter, until it flashes red and blue. You need to do this while you are in range of the operator and you should see the display flash 11. This fix worked for me.

They work ... if you can get them programmed
We got these for a small block of flats with four separate garage doors. We followed the instructions included precisely but programming them was a nightmare (and I work as a programmer!). They randomly operated 1, 2, 3 or all 4 doors - we ended up with doors going up and down like some dancing fountain tribute. In the end we had to get a garage door firm to send someone to programme them for us. When he read the included instructions, he laughed a lot. He got them set up how we needed but now we are waiting for the bill for his time, which will have to be added to the cost of the fobs, which aren't cheap.
