Saved me money on an official one and seems to be working the same so far. It is very hard to install, but got it done.

When the Enter key on my laptop started acting up, I knew it was only a matter of time before it failed completely. I chose this KBRPARTS replacement in part because acquiring original parts for older equipment is rarely cost effective. I must caution though that replacing a keyboard in this line of notebooks is not a simple task like it used to be, and that nearly every part of the notebook must be removed before the keyboard is accessible. Once disassembled with a pile of parts in front of me, I was able to confirm that this keyboard was an exact fit so I installed it into the case and then everything else on top of it, hoping the whole time that it would all work properly. And it did! The keyboard feels like the original, with both the backlight and pointing stick working as expected, and I'm quite satisfied.

I needed to replace the keyboard on my Latitude 5401 since I had several keys that were not longer as responsive as they should have been after being in use for a few years. Thank goodness someone made a youtube video for this process because this was a very involved process of removing almost every screw in the computer to access keyboard and replace it. The keyboard definitely works but if you are going to attempt it yourself make sure you have patience, a good amount of time and a nice clean space where you can lay out the screws in an order you can remember how to put them all back.
