It is my favourite kitchen item and after 21 years it is still going strong and delighted they still make the same model…and bought a second one for a friend who sadly could not accept it so waiting for my refund . It is amazing !

It's beautifully made and ingenious. The system does all they tell you, EXCEPT, it's not good on apples or carrots - both tend to jam up the machine. Since these are possibly the most popular items most people will juice, this is a shortcoming. It's fabulous on those things rejected by other juicers, like nettles or wheatgrass etc. Also you can't put the parts in the dishwasher like you can with the Champion, which is what I'll stick with.

I have never paid this much for a juicer before but wanted what it promised in health benefits. It certainly delivers on its promise and so far have no cons to post. Clean up is very involved but that is needed in order to get the best performance. I had read several reviews and it was clear that this was the juicer for me. I have already forgotten the price!

Although there are newer more contemporary models, this juicer has been a family member for the best part of 13yrs.It juiced around 9ltrs a week of large amounts of Calvo Nero, curly, spring greens, various cues, veg , sun foods......also pre soaked hemp seed and never failed. Purely juicing soft fruit and veg will need more fibrous material to keep the movement but there is not doubt about this juicer.Anyway today, my son phoned and said 'Dad, the juicer's fkd'. For a moment I thought he might have just over looked the masticators but on arriving home 'No', it's fkd.Thanks you Greenstar you've served us royally and in the coming weeks I'll will buy a clone of your fine selfand enjoy the next 13yrs.

My husband was ill recently so I decided that juicing was a really important part of getting his nutrition up to the highest levels and speed up his healing. I took the advice of our homeopathic practice and bought the Green Star and I think it's just brilliant at juicing ANYTHING! I don't understand why one of your reviewers says there is a problem with apples and carrots as my Green Star does a fantastic job of big chunks of all types of fruit, whole carrots, fibrous veg like stalks of celery, leafy veg like kale, sprouting greens, unpeeled ginger roots etc.Would highly recommend this to anyone who cares about their health and good general nutrition, particularly if actually needing to recuperate or get fit.
