Glide and not Zip
Initially I was a little disappointed in that the scooters weren't a little faster underwater. The grandkids had a couple of contests where one of them used a scooter and the other "raced" by swimming only. Both the 9 and 10 yo swam faster that the scooter. THE REAL POINT, I purchased these 2 scooters for the Grandkids and they loved them! It took all of 1 minute to master the controls and within a few minutes more they were making up pool games using the scooters which is the main focus. If it wasn't for the Happiness factor for the grandkids I would have only given these things a 3 rating.

Defective
Bought for Christmas and now that summer is here my son wants to use it. Worked 1 time and it no longer works. Says it's charging but that's it

Works flawlessly and such great fun
This water scooter is fantastic! What a great addition to our fun pool activities. It’s perfect for kids ages 5-13 years old in my opinion. It has a nice sleek, compact modern design. It has a good amount of power to it and propels my kids through the water in our pool. It operates flawlessly and I have not had any issues with it at all.

Nice water scooter for kids
The media could not be loaded. Even though this is advertised for ages 5 and up, the power is not very strong. My daughter is very light ( 60lbs), but her brother who is about 80lbs found this scooter to be too slow and not able to move him well. I tried it too (I am 140lbs) but I found it more suitable for very young and lightweight youth.

Light weight, simple functions
The media could not be loaded. I like that it’s simple to use, just push two triggers and motor spins fan. There’s one speed and it’s very controlled and somewhat slow. The blade is deep so in the middle of the machine making it less likely to get tangled though hair should be secured and away from the intake.It’s intended to float in salt water and may not always float in fresh water. It doesn’t come with a tether to secure it to the wrist so care should be taken not to let it sink if used in deep fresh water.Needs AC power to charge and lasts long enough for one person to have fun. Battery is built in so you can’t get extra batteries so not ideal if multiple kids want to share it since it could run out of batteries if somebody uses it too long.
