Revitalized a 2004 Tacoma
I've always loved the looks of the blue and yellow on Bilstein shocks. They perform well and were easy to install. I've got a 2004 Tacoma Double Cab V6. It now takes bumps way better and I feel like the rear end isn't sagging anymore.

Don't buy two, the Left side is a different part number.
This was the Right rear shock for a 2000 Toyota Tacoma, partnered with this:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DRYNSRIFor the Left side.Installation was a breeze, it took about 5-10 minutes for each one. They seem much heavier than the OEM shocks that they replaced, but ride quality is very street worthy.

They are really good shocks
These shocks work real well on my 2000 tacoma 4x4 TRD. I have tried aftermarket shocks but they don't compare to the bilsteins. They do have a right and left shock and they are different part numbers.

Fits 2004 TRD Tacoma be sure and get left and right
Easiest install ever. I lube the bolts the day before with liquid graphite spray, makes bolt removal easy. Anyone with wrenches can do this in their driveway, no need to jack up truck or anything.

Began leaking at year 3. Warrenty a joke
Buyer bears all responsibility to get shock back to Bilstein. They may or may not determine it is covered under warranty. There is no way to go through Amazon for a warrenty replacement that I could find. So their warranty is basically worthless if purchased through Amazon. I guess for the premium price I expected a premium product or premium service.. that is not what you are going to get on either end of this. I would avoid.

They ride great on my 2004 Tacoma compared to the ranchos they replace. The truck bed doesn't feel feel like it bounces around anymore (side to side, and now handles better. With bumps being absorbed as they should, love them and looking forward to replacing the front to match.

No Longer Assembled in USA
These Bilstein shocks are now Assembled in Mexico instead of the USA like Amazon's product pictures show. The included photo shows the left and right shocks with the part numbers and "Assembled in Mexico" on the labels. The only reason I was willing to pay a premium for the Bilstein brand was because they were US-made. Since they're now made in Mexico, I returned them and bought KYB shocks instead. At least the KYBs are still Made in Japan and they cost ~$100 less than Bilstein.
