I'm in love with these pouches. I usually get the mesh pouch that has more like 15 layers and when one layer would tear or get loose the whole thing would fall apart or as of lately they would be too ruff.These pouches come sealed each in an individual bag, seem well made so far and although they don't come with a toggle to cinch the pouch closed to keep soap in it was exceptionally easy to undo the end cap on the ribbon, un-tie the ribbon, add a toggle and re-tie the end and cap. I used a toggle that i had lying arround from unused craft projects.Overall I've only used one pouch so far (+/- 2 months) and no issues with falling apart or anything. I would definitely buy again if I need too. Great value and product. Soft lather but also just enough scrub to them.

I found this to be great for using a bar soap, it lathers quickly and exfoliates the skin without scratching. Each member of my family has their own 'soap bar', this keeps them separate, can hang to keep soap dry and not mushy. I love it.

First of all, while these are the best price (at least they were when I ordered them), the time it takes for them to arrive is barely worth it. But I knew that going in, so I can't deduct a star because the time frame was made very clear.This works perfectly with the handmade soaps and the African black soaps that I like to use. They are also great with the solid shampoo bars as well. The material is like the mesh sponges that you can find for next to nothing at Target or at the dollar store, but the mesh is finer. They are lightly exfoliating and don't cause any harm.So why the one star deduction? Because there's no way to clip them closed. In order to secure them, you have to put in a knot, which may or may not make it difficult to unknot when the soap (or whatever) is depleted. Recommended with slight reservations.

what a great option for slipper soap bars. Put in the bar tie the bag and use. It lathers quickly and gently scrubs the skin, it is not irritating at all on my sensitive elder skin!It prevents dropping the slipper bar- a bonus to be sure, reducing possible accidents in the shower! after use hang it up to dry- ready for the next use!If others use the shower, they can have their own color ribbon for the soaps of their choice!

Update: I’ve had to give this product 3 stars instead dog my original 5. After almost no use, every bag I’ve had has lost the plastic pull tab, or ripped in some way. The two that I still have in one piece work fantastically, but the other 8 I had to throw away.I purchased this product hoping to prolong some artisan soaps I had purchased, and was not disappointed in the least. All of these bags are nicely made, and work exactly as advertised. They're effectively a loofa, but instead of putting your soap into the loofah, you've put the loofah around the soap.The only con is that these aren't shipped with prime, so they take a considerable amount of time to arrive, and seem to have difficulty with package tracking. I received my order over two weeks ago, and yet amazon still doesn't think that this package has been delivered. However, this is an exceedingly small issue, which doesn't detract at all from the quality of the product.

You get a lot of these. Maybe I'm not as hard on mine as other reviewers. Nice loofah. You can fit an entire bar in one of these. But I use them for the scraps. I just tied a knot in the ribbon and have never had a problem with any closure or falling out. I even waited til it dried, untied it, added another scrap and re-tied. Yes, they come from Japan or China if you read closely, so expect longer to receive.It seems to lather up very nice. I've checked my soaps and I don't think they are the reason. So, nice plus.

I like bar soap over body wash, but washcloths don't make enough lather. These are great. I have been buying them for years. At the price point, using a new one every time you switch your soap bar is affordable.

Putting the soap in the bag it foams up like a scrubby and feels good on skin.it worked great while traveling.
