Business and Legal Forms for Graphic Designers (Business and Legal Forms Series) Paperback – July 1, 2013

Great economic resource for graphic designers starting out in their own freelance ventures and a lot of money saved vs legalzoom or other sources. I would highly recommend as anyone should, to edit the language on the forms you need adding and subtracting what is relevant to your business in addition to consulting other sources and adding your own flair in terms of a logo, different fonts & layout. And of course if you can, find someone with a legal eye, in business or otherwise to read over your end result. As always the forms be ever changing over your freelance career, hopefully to your better advantage. Good luck!

Many of the writing projects tend to lean toward the legal aspect at some time before publication. This book shows amny of those forms than I needed and then some. If a writer is looking to collaborate with other disciplines, this is a must read to see how to protect and help each other..

There are many books that contain legal forms for graphic designers but the reason why I enjoy these types of books from "Business and Legal Forms" is the fact that it does come with a CD and that you can fix the forms up to your liking.It's one thing to use copies from this book or any book but more than likely you want to change something, omit something or add something to the forms and thus this is where this book provides convenience.This book offers forms for graphic and web designers as well. Definitely a good investment.

This book is simply amazing in helping me understand aspects on the legal side of design. The contracts have helped me greatly improve the communication between my client and myself in what details are being discussed.

I find it hard to understand the business terms featured in this book but the forms did helped a lot. It might seems to be "too detailed" at first, but the forms clearly shows you what you can charge and what you can't. But don't let that influence your buying power. I just prefer something more visual especially when it comes to "business terms" and such.

This book and the forms it comes with are an excellent resource for doing freelance work. The book explains every part of the form so you can understand what you need and why you need it. I recommended using these forms as a guide and creating your own with your personal flair and branding.

This book is the full of forms that any freelancer needs. If you want to protect your self and your work you should have this book. All forms come in different formats from pdf to ms word.

I'm an independent graphic designer. I've started my business this past year and have been training for several additional years, and of numerous books I have purchased in my field, this one most insightfully shines the light into the actual business aspects of the field. For anyone who is aspiring or already active in the graphic design field, I recommend this book!
