Big flow rate goes nice w 4 inch PVC and nice muted color goes good with landscape
Great draining big flow rate have these hooked up to my gutters... working great so far... used gorilla glue hot glue to connect to PVC.. very solid way to connect.. not an issue if you buy two or more but it only comes with one end connecter to attach to the PVC drain pipe.. they are a little pricey but for the width and flow rate and brand name it is worth it :) i like the color as well matches nice with big box store pea gravel or river rock

Direct fit to my broken drain cover
A large truck broke my old drain cover as it left my property , this new drain with new cover was a direct fit , wish it was a bit thicker. To. Hold up to weight of large trucks , but. For now it works. Well for me

Great product but see note
Just as advertised. Just be aware that the 3" and 4" exit pipe sizes they mention are NDS solid pipe sizes and not schedule 40 or 4" corrugated drain pipe. I had to do some searching at my local big-box home improvement store but did find the NDS pipe adapter I needed. My need was one drain from my patio and this was a great product for it. For my application, well-packed dirt on three sides, the patio stones on one side and landscape spikes in the "ears" that came on the product made it solid. No concrete needed. I did put 100% silicone in the joints of the product (as directed) and between it and the patio stones. Great replacement for what I had rigged that lasted for the past 4 years before its plastic covering deteriorated.

A 4 inch Flexdrain pipe will not fit a 4 inch NDS connector.
Flexdrain and NDS have different ideas of what 4" is. I had to cut the pipe and tape it to get it to fit.

Skill needed to protect finished quality!
Not necessarily for a DIY'r unless you have some construction skills. I used three units end to end, capped opposite ends using JB Weld because I never have trusted the bond strength of silicone. Needed to drain out the bottom using a PVC elbow so I had to cut out the entire inside diameter, required a Roto Zip with extended cutter to reach the depth required so plan on some extra effort with the bottom drain port if that is what you need.Supporting the assembly on the bottom with a few paver bricks is a good idea, as for the rebar mounting clips I found it best to bind the rebar to the plastic clips using rebar tie wire. If you don't bind the clips to the rebar (after establishing correct slope) the angle you have placed the units on may shift by concrete surrounding the housing and float up without you knowing it!.The elbow I used on the bottom discharge port didn't fit well so be prepared to check the fit of your PVC drain components, you may need some creative fastening to make sure the PVC doesn't come off during concrete placement. The end to end connection mechanism built into the trench units could be better but if you are careful handling the connected joints they will work, if you are expecting a full locking effect it just isn't there.

Great product but delivery delayed
Biggest complaint is delivery time. Delivery stated Friday with only partial delivery then... more came Saturday but unable to complete a project still because waiting for the last four scheduled for delivery today but no time frame. To do this project... a huge trench was dug and we have been fighting to keep it dry between rain showers because the product was not delivered when it was scheduled to be. That’s a big problem on an issue like drainage. Overall like the product just wish we would have been given accurate information on arrival so that it didn’t create more work to wait.We had an existing patio that had huge drainage issues. We used a concrete saw to cut a Channel and did out for new drain. Used rebar to stabilize and carefully packed dry cement on either side. In the end we will use mortar to fill in the gap on each side of pavers that matches pavers. Water will flow off into side yard away from foundation. The house is from 1876 and because of water sitting against house from drainage, we had sill plate rot in one section with significant sagging. After drainage channel is complete, we will be setting footers and replacing sill plate to jack the sagging section and fix foundation. The Steele House, Statesville, NCWe have a couple other drainage projects and have learned with this product not to even begin digging trenches until the product arrives.

Great item
I was having drainage issues from my patio. Had these installed in about 3 hours. No more sandbags.
