C2G 27329 USB cable - 4 pin USB Type A (M) - mini-USB Type B (M) - 3.3 ft ( USB / Hi-Speed USB ) - black

Because I lost TI-84, I bought this cable. The quality is good, and I used for one year, no issues appear.

My external DVD player comes with a short, two headed (Y style) power / data cable. Most external players come with the Y style in case you need to plug into two ports at once so your DVD reader/writer can draw enough power to operate. However, all my modern computers, whether desktop or laptop, seem to provide enough power for both reading (easy) and writing (a little more demanding) so the extra "head" on the stock DVD cable goes to waste, clutters up the space, or my kids plug in the wrong part of the Y and wonder why the DVD player is inoperable (only one of the heads moves data).Hence, two solutions. This C2G (Cables to Go) slim cable, 1 meter long cable which is a straight cable without the Y head, or the AmazonBasics USB 2.0 A-Male to Mini-B Cable (6 Feet / 1.8 Meters). Since I don't mind having a spare cable, I ordered both. The C2G is slimmer, lighter, and shorter; the Amazon is more robust and, of course, longer.Both get the job done; I prefer the C2G for two reasons:1. I can shove my very compact Lenovo external DVD into a quart Ziploc together with the C2G cable easily, because the C2G is much less bulky.2. I sometimes use my external DVD player to watch a movie on a laptop that is (modern times!) DVD drive-less. So I just set the DVD player down on the sofa or nightstand and this new accessory cable is long enough that I won't be disturbing the DVD player as I watch - there is enough slack in the cable. The Amazon cable is much stiffer, and transmits any movement in the laptop computer straight back to the DVD player. Not a problem with the laptop on a desk, a problem if you are using a Logitech Portable Lapdesk N315.So for the very low price of this cable, you might think about replacing your stock DVD cable with one of these.It will also work with other devices that use the Mini-B connector, although these are getting fewer and fewer. If you are not sure what the name of your connector is, look up USB on Wikipedia and they have easy to recognize photos.My Amazon merchant was Amamax and they were fast and reliable.

I needed to connect my T2i, T3i, D10 to my computer. It works perfectly. It also connect to an Arduino Nano.At $3.99 (09-27-2023) it is VERY easy on my budget.

I don't know about the data transfer, I bought this cable only because my ancient key fob (that has a screen!) needs this type of cable to charge its battery, which it does well.Make sure you're buying the correct cable -- look at the photos carefully, this is not a Micro USB cable, this is a Mini USB cable.

Item works fine just was not the right cord I needed, that was my fault though

I would have expected just the postage to cost more than the final cost of this transaction (cable plus delivery). How can they make money selling it this low AND paying the postage? I'm kinda new to Amazon and the internet (serious stoke about the time everyone else was just getting online). I'm JUST using my first cell phone, too (the free one you see on TV for people on Medicaid). I was thinking about trying to hookup my phone to the computer but I wasnt sure what I needed. One time when I was taken to Wal-Mart by my Adult Foster Care guardians, I decided to ask a salesperson. They gave me the proper cable that I needed. It was TEN DOLLARS AT WAL-MART! TEN DOLLARS! Two-weeks later I was browsing the net for "hard drive stuff" and seen this cable for a SMALL fraction of what Wal-Mart soaked me for. Then I looked to see what the shipping cost were (you know-sometimes they offer a low price and then charge you an INSANE amount of S&H). I then seen it was FREE. Even though I had a cable already, I just had to see if this deal was really true (doesnt hurt to have an extra cable around when you can get it at this price). It arrived way ahead of schedule (I think it was mailed from Detroit area and I'm in Mid-Michigan). I will say that my OVER-PRICED WAL-MART cable might seem a little heavier than this one. Still, this one is MORE than adequate quality for the price it is. You can buy a large collection of these for the price of ONE Wal-Mart cable -AND have it mailed to your house (I can never drive again) in a very reasonable amount of time.This was my first "batch" of purchases from Amazon (and the internet). I think my order came from 5-different vendors. They were all ahead of schedule but this cable was the first to arrive. I used to be weary of mail-orders but Amazon has provided a platform that-with a little diligence and care-you can find good products at fair prices with minimal concern. I decided to write this review to do my part in helping others feel comfortable with their decision to buy. The more customers that write reviews, the more accurate it is for others. I highly recommend this product and vendor (along with over 200+ others customers that helped me decide to feel safer).

I bought this cable to replace a misplaced Garmin Nuve 1450 GPS data cable.As an aside, my Canon Powershot S70 digital camera data cable works fine as a substitute cable for my Garmin.The cable under review is advertised to work with the Canon S70 camera---and it does! However, it will not work with the Garmin GPS as a data cable. Go figure. It appears you can charge the Garmin while plugged into a USB port with this cable, but it will not connect to the computer for data transfer.Quality of the cable is fine.
