I did the lice kit and received a plastic comb. It was terrible, the teeth were way too big for my daughter’s thin hair.My husband got on Amazon to find something that would work because Amazon literally has everything which I love!He found these. They worked PERFECT! The metal comb has the teeth right next to each other so it gets all the little bugs out of my daughter’s thin hair!One thing I didn’t understand the difference between red and blue so I had to look it up. There is no difference just one is red and one is blue. I think they should have added that in the description or made them the same color.If you had thick hair you would hate how close the teeth are but for thin hair PERFECT!

I really like these other than one thing. They're sturdy and easy to clean but if you comb at the top of the bristles where it meets the edge, it's serrated and metal, so I would occasionally shave off a bit of hair! I'm not too fussy about my hair and it probably wasn't even enough to show but I do have to mind the way I'm combing.

People before going to lice clinics and spending an ungodly amount of money, go to the dry sauna. It kills nits and lice within 30 minutes to an hour. I didn't have to comb nits and things like that I did go through it with a comb but washing them out worked fine. Neem oil in the hair and in the body Works to get rid of other bugs that might be bothering you. Then borax and insecticide in the wash with laundry detergent let it soak for an hour and dryer two or three times and that should get rid of all of it out of your clothes and then sweep and Swiffer the floors and vacuum. Diluted dish soap spray on your socks so you can get it into your shoes. Insecticide used in the car. If you have carpet beetles in your car I've read insecticide doesn't work you have to use diluted dish soap. If you're in Colorado I'd like to help. I was hoping to help everybody get rid of this s*** so that maybe it wasn't spreading so badly. I actually did not use for lice, I used them on a new wall accent painting for some swirled text. Worked great...

Was excited to get these in order to get dead eggs out of my son's hair. It removed exactly zero. Did nothing for me. I don't doubt that it would work for removing actual lice, but after ten minutes of my kid crying bc he said the comb hurt, and not getting even a single egg out of his hair, I gave up. I'm not going to return it bc maybe it will be useful should he ever have lice again, but for what I needed it for (lice egg removal) they were worthless. One also came with tiny scratches all over the metal. Overall, waste of money for me personally. Wouldn't purchase again.
