This Baronnage drain cover looks nice and seems like good quality. To me, the color appears a little darker, more of a "brushed bronze" than a "brushed gold". I think the color of this drain cover is actually much more attractive than many of the yellower golds I see in bathroom fixtures. The challenge is trying to match different "gold" plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, etc. with this when there are so many variances.

Fabulous drain!
We do tile for a living. Because of that I use plenty of these types of drains. I really like this one because the grid is easily removable (no screws) ~ it just lifts out (tool included, or just use a screwdriver). There is a small hair strainer under the top drain plate (also, just lifts out). And most importantly, the entire top of the drain (the part you see after installation) will gently move up or down in the rubber gasket to make sure the top of the drain and the top of the tile are perfectly even. This is crucial with a square drain, as a conventional threaded drain can only be adjusted in 1/4 turn increments to keep it square to the shower pan. This is a 5 star well made and incredibly well designed drain! I highly recommend this drain.
