Makes getting in and out a lot safer.
My wife and I are doing a lot of traveling in our 1994 RV. As a "Mature" couple were finding getting into and out of the door of the RV was getting a little challenging. The small handle that came with the 30 year old RV worked "ok" getting into the the RV. But, was no help in getting out. After almost falling out the door a few times we realized that it was time to install something that would give us the stability that we need in the last chapter in our lives. This handle makes getting in and out of the RV a lot safer for us. The wide grip area and design gives us plenty of room to place our hands where we are able to the most stability. It is also side to side adjustable. By folding the handle against the door it provides a little added security in keeping the door closed while traveling. The quality is adequate for our needs and it seems to be durable enough to provide the length of time we are going to be traveling.

Very important safety addition at a very low cost with easy install
How many times have you seen friends come back from an expensive and long awaited trip that was ruined by an injury that happened early on in their vacation? I'm all about PREVENTING needless injuries. After reading "Stop the Slip" by Thom Disch I've made it a point to keep my vacations accident free. This extra sturdy and easy to grip handle takes minutes to install and can save a sprained ankle or worse. Yes, there's already a little handle near the RV door, but it's shallow and not second nature to grab. This easily folds out and when you're holding a plate of hot dogs in one hand it's nice to have a good grip as you step up or down. The price is low and the potential savings is very high. This gives me more safety and peace of mind, especially when I'm navigating our campsite at night. Just buy it. It's an attractant necessary addition to your RV.

Frustrated!!!!
The instructions want you to use a pencil to mark holes to drill pilot holes. The problem is a pencil will not fit into the holes on the bracket. So something that should have taken minutes to do is now into hours trying to find something to mark drill spots. Very frustrating!!! Once attached works as it should
