Excited over sponges!
Love, love, love these sponges! Humongous, as large as my whole hand, and hold a ton of water to moisten my larger watercolor paintings. So glad I passed over many smaller sponges until I found this - exactly what I wanted and lots more bang for my bucks too..

WoW ,,
Great size, I use it in the shower, one soft, the other one firm. No smell. They didn’t come apart after getting wet. Great price and will buy again.

Bought them as shower sponges. Happy so far.
All of the sea sponges sold for bath & body are way overpriced, so I thought I'd check out the ones marketed for painting instead. So far, I'm happy with the size and satisfied that they are natural sponges. IDGAF about whether they're bleached, and I specifically wanted them to be on the scratchier side (they're not *scratchy*, but they haven't been softened with anything either), so they work for me. It appears they *may* be a couple of sponge pieces glued together, as I saw in another review. Though disappointing, that's not a dealbreaker for me as long as they don't fall apart. I just wanted a legit natural sea sponge big enough to shower with.

VERY NICE!
These sponges are very nice. I use them in my art work and they do very well! I like that they are natural so that each one is a little different. I would buy them again if I need more.

There was a lot of gross stuff in the middle
The sponges were smelly like dead fish and when I washed them I felt a bunch of crap in the middle and it was like slimy garbage and ligaments and stuff. The one sponge I had to cut in small pieces to get rid of the middles stinky stuff and the other one I was able to get clean by just soaking, I googled how to and it said to use warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda and I left it to soak for about 6 hours then air dried in a strainer. It works good to paint with I was sponging a statue made of concrete and I threw it away when I was done because I only used a small piece and it got very dirty.

Great for Scenic Painting
Usually it's hard to find lower-priced natural sponge that are good enough (and large enough) to be used in theatyrical scene painting. While they're a little smaller than the ideal, they are definitely larger than most others sold in their price range, and so far they have worked well and held up well.

Great for faux painting, Can be used over and over again
Used to create an antique look on walls, these are really nice natural sponges with lots of random and pronounced, but subtle texture.I hope this helps
